Very sorry for the massive delay. I've been feeling a bit under the weather for the past week+ and had to draw this very slowly bit by bit. Not much different from my normal workflow actually.

Anyway, as a kid I remember my grandma having tons of canned salmon in her cabinets but I don't think I ever saw her eat any of it.

Canned salmon, I remember it being like dry pink tuna fish, and cooked in the can bones and all. We didn’t know what salmon was until years later in Banff, Canada. That fresh salmon dinner was a revelation.

I think it’s more like he doesn’t know how and has never had to. If he eats fish he probably just ate whatever lived in the lake.

Uh, a lot of fish normally eat other fish. Just like many mammals eat other mammals. Humans are not cannibals for eating pork or beef.

When you constantly live in water and your species evolved there, it's pretty normal that you eat stuff found there.
