Some of my earliest memories are of the power going out (mostly through terrible storms and mostly through unpaid electric bills) and walking through the house in the dark when it was only lit by candles. I always kinda hated it a bit when the power came back on and everything started buzzing and humming again.

That's only barely related to this page. Anyway, here's a new page.

I love the picture of Felix on the wall. And there is something weirdly serene about when the power goes out. It sucks, but the quiet is nice.

That's interesting! I remember when I was around 4 or 5yo and the power went out in our house. One of my cousins was there and taught me that if you pass butter in a cookie and put it next to the candle's flame the butter will melt. That may seem pretty obvious now but back when I was a small kid I found that information so magic! And then she taught me to make shadow dogs and bunnies using my hands... I remember being really sad when power came back.
