I decided to uninstall NBA 2K25. I feel that game is more tailored towards an online audience and I just don't connect with the online game modes. I haven't actually played the game in months for various reasons. I will say that the most encouraging things I saw with this iteration being on PC was the improvements made to the instant replay mode, the ability to natively use mods, and improvements to player movement over the past PC releases.

For now I will be going back to NBA 2K23 on PC for the first time in a long time. Viewing the game through a new lens, I plan to accept the game for what it is and not what it could be. New settings have been tailored to my own liking, while I will go back to my classic reshade settings that have brought visual appeal to the game for me. It goes without saying that I will have a robust selection of mods to choose from on my PC. New mods are also an option as there are still quality mods/ projects being created by the PC community for 2K23 to this day.

As for my plans for 2K26, who knows if I will even purchase that game. I would like to play NBA 2k26 day one on PC. However, that will be determined by the tangible strides take two and the NBA 2K team can make in terms of gameplay elements that lend themself to the enjoyment of an offline player. Improving upon modding capabilities by creating an interface would be nice as well as any type of support for a roster editor tool. Outside of external additions like tools and mods I would like to see the jersey creator and team branding tools take a step up if possible.

Well that's the post. More to come, feel free to leave a comment below.
