How to spot a Christian movie

When it was recently announced that Riverdale alumnus KJ Apa would be stepping into the role of golden age movie star Jimmy Stewart in a biopic, for one reason or another, this immediately set off alarms in my head. I had a sneaking suspicion that said film would not be a mainstream, big-budget take on Stewart's life, but rather the type of conservative faith-based B movie Dennis Quaid likes to make now that he's senile. I wanted to take you all along on the journey of researching the project to demonstrate how to confirm or assuage such suspicions. Unfortunately for Apa stans, it looks like Archie's doing another all-American Christian movie.
