What's kinda crazy is that I grew up watching the unrated cut more than the theatrical cut. Another fun fact was that Heather Lagenkamp would've been in this movie too as a cameo and the sherif from nightmare on elm Street. This would've been Wes Craven's End Game basically. I kinda want the movie remade with everyone again just age them all up and make a new movie.

I did read that Heather Lagenkamp was supposed to be in it! So many abandoned casting choices that would've been so fun... And I agree, I think one way or another it would be cool if someone were to try to remake Cursed. I feel like more remakes should be for that purpose, not reproducing already popular successful films, but reworking unsuccessful ones

I didn't know where else to post this, but I watched Cursed last night on CTV (I'm in Canada) and the promo photo has Skeet??? So curious where they got this and why it's the one image they chose! https://www.ctv.ca/movies/cursed

That's one of the promotional stills from when they were shooting the og script! They did shoot most of the movie with Skeet before he dropped out, and I think that set of stills was released by a Scream fan site a few years ago. I would guess that whoever was in charge of choosing pics/supporting materials on the CTV website probably hadn't seen the movie, looked it up on google images, and picked the one they liked the best lmao. Kind of false advertising!
