Surgery timeline update! (and Emma, she's being a cutie) (Patreon)

Who has two thumbs and a fucked up pretzelsome pelvis as the result of a partially successful BMP onlay fusion surgery of transitional anatomy at L5-S1 in June 2024? It's me. I'm bitches.

I'm on the schedule for May 5th for my next thingy! It's a sacrioiliac fusion (that's right, it's not just a lyric from the 1982 song "The Message" by Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five [Look, it was in Vice City, okay? Leave me alone.]) and they do one side, and then 6ish weeks later they do the other side. So it seems like I'll be out of commission for at least 2 months, but we'll see. It's not the same kind of back surgery like my first one was, where it affected my ability to lean forward at my desk during recovery. Who knows? Could be much harder, could be much easier. The point is, I just don't know. Time and titanium will tell.

I'll keep you all posted as to what I'm gonna do going forward but I will most likely be pausing the Patreon for the duration of my recovery. I won't be changing anything about my tiers or whatever until I come back, so for now don't worry about that stuff at all. And I want to thank each and every one of you for supporting me last time if you were here for that, and even if you weren't. It's weird to say, but having a spine the shape and consistency of uncooked ramen has, through making it so I can't work, made me rediscover my love for drawing girls with big hooters that are the wrong color, and I have all of you to thank for helping me stick with it all this time.

Lastly, this is just a lil WIP of Emma in the "before" shot of this months' rewards. Once again, she is doing something sweet (and tart) for my birthday. This one's for you, BE fans. I don't know if I'll be able to use this particular expression, but I just had to share it. I do so many variations before choosing, I really ought to go with numbers instead of letters. lol

tl;dr: Surgery in May, will be pausing Patreon for a while after April.
