Product Permissions - Please Read (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

I've just gotten my first shipment of test products from WildePrints.com and they look spectacular! 

Which brings me to my next phase of product building: YOU.

Obviously much of my art features your characters. And per my TOS, I reserve the right to sell this artwork still.

Excerpt from Terms of Service agreed to upon pledging/commissioning: 

"I retain all rights to the artwork, this includes any and all electronic rights and usage. I retain the right to sell, reproduce, show, display, and in general, use the artwork as I see fit. I retain the right to sell prints of your commission to the public."

However, I currently do not intend to sell commissioned art at this time. It is my preference not to do so unless the commissioner actively wants me to sell a physical product of it.

I do intend to sell prints of Patreon Digital Paintings, and Patreon comics however. And while I retain the right to do so, my preference would be to have your explicit permission to do so. I want to be able to put your character name and information (if desired) in the comic somewhere for example.

SO! Here's how to give that explicit permission. Copy the italicized text below, and replace the appropriate terms with your character(s) information. Then send that to me via Patreon DM. so that I can have the text associated with your Patreon Account. None of this information will ever be published, or shared between anyone but you and me unless there is some sort of legal dispute you should call, or upon request.

I [insert legal -or- patreon name] am the single owner of the character(s) [insert character(s) name(s)]. And per the Terms Of Service agreed upon when pledging to Vellum, I give explicit permission that Vellum may use [insert character(s) name(s)] when selling physical prints of Patreon Sketches, Patreon digital paintings, and Patreon comics. I expect no monetary compensation for their publishing of these works my character has appeared in.

Furthermore, I, [insert legal -or- patreon name] grant Vellum explicit permission to use [insert character(s) name(s)] when selling physical prints of commissioned work featuring [insert character(s) name(s)]. I expect no monetary compensation for their publishing of these works my character has appeared in. 

Ignoring this request will not cause harm, but depending on the project, I may remove your character from the art and replace them with another for publishing. Thank you very much for your cooperation, following the above steps will make everything so much easier for me.

To give you some insight as to where this may lead, I have already spoken to Wildeprints about comics, and when they get the necessary equipment to print and bind them, they have stated they are more than happy to explore options with me. Which means that hopefully, sooner than later, you'll be seeing physical prints of Trials: FEN, and Trials: SHOG at conventions! (I may combine the two into one physical comic, we'll see!).
