The Sooyoung going to check on Tiffany, Hyoyeon and others is so much deeper than one would think. She went to check on Tiffany when she didn’t respond because of what has happened to their peers and labelmates (Jonghyun, Sulli and Hara). It goes to show just how deeply they care about each other. The girls also did a great job at not letting the conversation turn sad too.

To add on to what others have said about having lost friends and peers as the impetus for Sooyoung checking on them, Tiffany also lost her mother to depression at the age of 12. Family studies suggest she is in a high risk group so I understand the concern.
