For a bit of context, the guy on this show is a comedian named Kim Daehee. But on this show he's playing a character named Kkon Daehee. Kkondae is the equivalent of boomer in Korean. So he acts like he's older than he is, and as if he doesn't know the guests, and it's meant to be a bit awkward. Also he is not actually from Busan, which is why Winter was grilling him on his supposed Busan dialect. And yes, his facial hair is fake.

Omg, please watch the episode with Hayoung & Nagyung! Besides breaking into his liquor stash, they sing songs that Hayoung wrote when she was in 2nd grade & literally knock their heads together during one bit! Honestly some of the most unhinged Fromis content I’ve seen in a while & that’s saying something! They also have an older episode with all 9 of them from DM era but I’m not sure there’s a subbed version!

Im always fascinated by international fans who watch episodes of this show and are entertained bc the subtitles capture maybe 40%-50% of what's actually funny about this show. This show is SO korean language/humor coded that subtitles just can't translate but props to you guys. oh and btw....Giselle's korean is so good bc while she's japanese, her mom is korean

It's not just that he's pretending to have a busan accent.....it's that his accent is beyond comically bad (that's the whole point) and his busanisms he does are comically stereotypical.

just as an example....Im sure you guys thought Giselle was really funny and entertaining but she got dumped on for this appearance in korea bc she couldn't really follow along with the humor and flow. While he occasionally has idols on (and they're the most viewed episodes bc they're idols), it's pretty rare and its also rare they are non-koreans bc there's sort of a korean comedic flow that all the other episodes have which are riotously funny to koreans.

yeah, in all honesty, the idol episodes of the show are probably the LEAST funny of his episodes bc they're all always so nervous (and also not professional comedians like many of his other guests). I literally can't get through any of the "family" episodes or dad joke-off episodes bc Im laughing so much
