In Tagalog slang, hugot (mentioned on the video: emotional baggage) means basically to unleash your true feelings or your emotions normally hidden deep inside you. It includes all emotions that can make you cry from sadness or happiness (like love, nostalgia, pity, etc.), but excludes anger. Example: When you hear a very emotional or romantic song and you start tearing up because you remember memories of your ex, the song is said to be hugot. It is only said in a joking manner though. It’s a way to blunt the impact somewhat. The rough equivalent to English slang is “The Feels”. Sorry for the long explanation :)
