The crashing out over korean age is so valid tbh. Especially now that they’re kind of not using it but also are still using it so its especially confusing cause i dont even know what system is being used and when. Also i feel like this whole year has just continuously been eunchaes birthday

Korean age is very confusing so I’m happy they seem to be fixing it soon side note I really hope we get a day off for Spaghetti we haven’t had one since easy don’t get me wrong I absolutely love leniverse but it’s been a minute since the last day off

Lachlan

would love to see your reaction to starship game caterers season 2

Them crashing out about Korean age was so real. I’m not gonna pretend like I completely understand how the Korean age system works.

When Eunchae was talking about she was 18, she actually said 스무 which means 20 in Korean, so they for some reason translated it to 18. So confusing.

Hello, I'm Korean. You can think of age as just a culture. You turn 1 year old as soon as you are born because it includes time in your stomach. I understand it's confusing, but it's not strange because it's such a familiar way to us. Recently, the law has been set to age with birthdays like in other countries, but people don't say that age because they are so used to the old way

Alan (Celadorado)

The way it was explained to me is that we measure age by how many years you've lived FOR, and Korean age measures how many (calendar) years you've lived IN. Eunchae was 1 when she was born in 2006. She was 2 on the first day of 2007 (less than two months later) because she'd been alive (however briefly) in both 2006 and 2007 at that point.

Maybe you guys could do the 2 Girl's Night that they have. They where both fun.

Even if they changed it , people still gonna be using that metrics because they been using it for decades! Its only on paper that changed but daily lives , koreans are still using it lol. Although , i think they use it when its convenient for them lol 😂 (older wanna be younger while younger wanna be older) We'll get Day Off after the new year for sure because theyre so busy with eoy perf and couldnt film understandably. So we will probably get it like at most 3 months after filming.
