I agree with you with the wine's past situation.... in my opinion this series did not execute wine's trauma in the novel very well... the story writing for wine in the novel is better...

I feel like this show was written to have 12 episodes but they had to condense the story for 10. I think it would have benefited from the extra time to develop certain plot points, I still enjoy the show though.

I'd say it's the poor writing & portrayal .They should've followed what's in the novel.In the novel,it's what Kess said, Korn is a safe place not only for Wine but for her other female co-workers too so when she reported him to the HR no one believed her & became the subject of scrutiny & rumors.She reflected on the things that her co workers did & gave to her since the beginning that she thought were normal since she's not the only one receiving it & that's when she became wary of other peoples' intention towards her.She eventually resigned when she can't take it anymore & changed the way she dressed, put on her make up and distance her self to her new co workers. Also in the novel,they're already girlfriends when Korn returned & Lal learned about Wines' past.

Idk where to put recs but you guys should definitely consider reacting to Rollercoaster. It’s the most intense love triangle I’ve ever seen and the endgame couple is dating irl. Also anything LMSY or FreenBecky is guaranteed to be really good.
