Patreon News - October 2026 (Patreon)

This post is mainly meant to expand on the announcement I already made on Twitter, but with a specific focus on Patreon.

So, I'll start by sharing the full announcement, and then I'll go into more detail about my plans for Patreon for this month and the next.

Okay, time for some life updates!

A few days ago, I mentioned that I got some good news at work. Well, to keep things short, I'm getting the opportunity to move up in my career!

For those who've taken a look at my profile, you probably know that I'm an aircraft mechanic. One of the ways I can advance in my field is by taking aircraft-specific training courses. These courses are extremely expensive, so opportunities to be sent to one are pretty rare. And well, I just got the opportunity to take a course on the Boeing 787!!

The course lasts two months and starts in the next few weeks. It's basically like going back to college, except this time I'm getting paid and I won't have to spend four hours commuting every day!

So, while it might seem like I'll have more free time to do other things, the truth is that I'd rather spend all that extra time studying. From what my coworkers have told me, the exams are really demanding, and I want to make sure I pass the course.

With that said, I'll be pretty inactive until December 4th, which is when my course ends.

So, the first thing I want to announce is that, just like this month, I'll also be pausing Patreon billing for November. Payments will resume in December.

And... that's pretty much all I can promise for now. I'll still try my best to put out some content throughout November while I'm taking the course.
