January Peaches and things (Patreon)
Content
Happy Sunday, everyone! Here's a little collection of doodles I've been putting together. I gave myself a new January palette and I also changed up the format. I'm still very inspired by the beautiful format of Soreyu's artwork. All those lovely graphic elements, typography, decorative backgrounds and frames-- ahhh it's sooo good!
Since one of my goals for 2025 is to make it easier to add things to the shopify store, especially physical stuff, I'd like to get into the habit of drawing in a page format so that I could easily export the pages, plug them into indesign and have a cute little zine ready to print and ship! 😤
I've also been thinking of inexpensive ways I could put more things in your mailboxes mor easily, I've seen other people format their patreon around having print or sticker clubs where you get something in the mail every month.
It's something I'd have to grow into and I think the baby step version of it would be making a zine of the month's drawings that could be mailed in a simple envelope with a forever stamp instead of more expensive postage on rigid mailers which I use with the comics to make sure they don't arrive bent.
I'm curious to know what you think of the idea of a printed newsletter!
Have you had good or bad experiences with print club style patreons? Was there anything that frustrated you about it?
