I've been working on getting the Peaches zine all wrapped up and I think I'm juuuust about there! I'll post all the final spreads in a single post and I plan on including the PDF version in the dropbox downloads this month in lieu of a major comic update since I don't know where I'll be at with the next comic project by the end of the month.

Thank you all for indulging in my Peach obsession 💖

femmecactus

thank you, some more please 😍🫡🙏

I sure hope so! All i ask is that you make her more lizard then something like bowsette i feel as if all renditions of a femme bowser make her another peach or some girl in a bowser costume

Awesome refining on that sketch! I’ve been tinkering with the settings of that brush on Procreate, but I can’t quite seem to achieve that pencil-y feel and texture yours has, like I see here. Do you have any suggestions? I know you’re using it in PS/CSP so I guess things might be different, but I’ll still ask just in case :D Forgive me for being too technical, but I can’t help but notice you went with a very low value contrast, which I guess was intentional due to the soft/calm vibe it’s giving. Good job on that too 👌💖

Procreate is one of those apps I've never really used so I can't say for certain. I think what makes this brush distinctive is that it looks like a single fine line under light pressure, but because of the dual brush when you press harder the wide spacing of the individual brush stamps is revealed and that's I think the pencil-y texture you're after. I will say it's hard using other peoples' brushes because we have different hands. I tend to press way too hard so I adjust pressure curves so that they go to 100% without a lot of pressure, to remind me to use a light touch. If you don't draw this way, you might need to tune how the brush works so its features show up when you're drawing the way you naturally draw. Basically-- don't assume that you're the problem, it might be my weird hand-bias. Just as I might like pens with thick barrels and you prefer thin ones, etc. :) Never too technical! :D Yes, I did go pretty low contrast on this. Light and airy felt appropriate for the whole project and as I worked I kinda just kept taking colors from other pages and my monthly templates and not deviating too much.
