I think working on that Witch piece has me all excited about different ways of having people touch each other.

I'm also getting into the potential for the less historical potential of the Greek/Amazons explorations. I'm not a scholar of Greco Roman literature or anything but I can definitely see myself playing with some of the mythological characters, especially if I can play more fast and loose with the rules. I'll be honest I just wanna draw Medusa.

🧡Happy Tuesday!

I’m interested to see your take on Medusa! 👀

Bowie Twombly

Absolutely gorgeous. There’s so much sensuousness that can be expressed from intentional touch on places that aren’t typically considered erogenous zones simply from the intentional intimacy and novelty of the action. I think you absolutely have the style and ability to communicate that kind of thing and I hope it’s something you decide to explore more. 😊

Love this!

PAN

I’m SO ready for your Intimate Grecian Arc (The way you capture the teasing aspects in your characters is *chef kiss*)

Kurbee

PLEASE draw Medusa!!

Luna_de_maria

oh I LOVE these characters, I hope you do more of them

Jeroen D Stout

This is really tremendous, absolutely love the direction you're going on

C.C. Cope

Gay Medusa would be incredible. (I just love that dynamic for her so much.) but hetreo is also cool if that’s the vision you have.

Schpog

oh it's so beautiful!! And yes, please draw Medusa ahhhh!

ValeRipley

Ayo this is friggin beautiful 😍

JackPot

I need more of this, it's a vital emergency

Mary Tales Books

I had an idea to draw Medusa, but with penises rather than snakes. Don't know why I never finished that, beyond it being a bit more than my abilities would allow.

I definitely plan to explore this stuff more! One of the most novel things to me about historical costuming is how we can all relate or empathize with the touch of the figures but the clothing is so different, it's a lot of fun to imagine what that might feel like to have big loose garments like this!

If you’re interested at all in gender-fucky Greek myths, look up Tiresias! While more popularly known as the Blind Prophet, they appear in a LOT of different stories, and have had there gender changed by the gods over like 8 times. Tiresias almost always appears with snakes too so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk I feel like that could be fun

Why not both? 😂 Like a lot of things it will probably just come down to the time I have available, but I hope to be able to play with the idea in multiple ways!

Aster that sounds like excellent comic potential, lol. I think gender-fucky territory would be lots of fun in a fantasy type context where people can just enjoy it as fantasy! Maybe it's just where my mind goes but I fully picture this as a ancient greek take on Ranma 1/2 😂 Which is exactly what I want to see in the world

Bowie Twombly

Wait I JUST noticed you included little details in the background to make it look like cracked pottery. That’s such a fantastic little detail, and makes my archaeologist heart so happy. 🥰

♥️♥️♥️♥️🥹 thank you for noticing the little things Bowie! I grew attached to those little hairline cracks when doing the vase illustrations earlier this year and I just wanted to carry them forward. I like the texture they can add to a picture!
