Happy Sunday everyone! Here's a bunch of the drawings I've been squirreling away this month, plus in the attachments is the timelapse for the bathtub Libby sketchbook page I shared earlier!

I still find myself playing with different levels of stylizing and simplifying figures and faces. There's a part of me that really loves cartoonish things because of how quickly they read, but as soon as I start to draw details creep in from all over and I end up with something very un-simple by the time I'm done 😩

It's something I'm going to continue to play with and explore more in the future!

I like to hear how you attempt to do a cartoonish style but your other natural drawing habits come and mix in with it. I really love how they come out because it creates a very unique cartoonish style that almost reminds of something I know, but it’s unique to you 😊

Thank you buddy! I liked how that one turned out too :) in the past I've used the little moments from these pages to expand into larger pieces and maybe I should pick that practice up again!

Aww thanks buddy! There's some times where it feels like it works and other times it feels like I'm doing an impression still so I think I'll keep working on it until it feels like a really natural mix!
