🚧 Update 27 – This Changes Everything 🚧

Heya!

I’m going to be straight with you — this update did NOT go the way I planned.

The original idea was simple:new Landlady flow, new Candy Body upgrade, some fresh scenes… a solid, classic update.

But while working on it, I started “just testing” something I’ve wanted to build since day one of Jimmy Awkward Adventures…

…and I couldn’t stop.

For the past few months, I’ve been deep in rebuilding the core gameplay — the thing I always felt was missing.

And now we’re finally there.

⚠️ So what does Update 27 actually bring?

Not the full thing. Not yet.

Instead, this is Part 1 of a bigger shift.

You’ll start getting smaller but more frequent updates — every week or two — as I roll this system out piece by piece until the foundation feels right.

👉 If you jump in now, you won’t wait a month — you’ll get multiple drops back-to-back.

🎮 What’s changing?

This is not just “click next” anymore.

I’m building a system where you can:

move around the house

choose actions

collect money 💰

and actually feel progression that makes sense

This is something I’ve wanted for over 2 years… and this is the first time I’m fully committing to it.

🎨 At the same time…

I’m also upgrading all characters to Candy Body.

It’s a big visual overhaul and will take around 4 updates to fully roll out — but it will come faster and in parts, not as one big monthly drop.

❗ Important

This update is not focused on new scenes.

I know that’s a shift.

But this time, I’m focusing on something bigger:

building a gameplay foundation that can actually carry the entire game forward

Which also means:

🔥 The old gameplay is being replaced🔥 This is basically a fresh start under the hood

💬 Why now?

Because I hit the point where I either:

keep patching the old systemor

finally build the one I always wanted

So I chose the harder option.

If you’ve been here for a while — this is probably the biggest change I’ve made in 2 years.
