"I accidentally joined..." (Patreon)

I've had a few people write and ask for refunds, saying things like "I accidentally clicked the join button" or "I accidentally paid and didn't mean to."

To download CakeMix, you have to click to:

Join this Patreon as a member.

Find the Download link in a post and click it.

That takes you to a page where you click another button saying to go ahead and authenticate with Patreon.

Click the button on the Patreon Auth page to authenticate.

That takes you back to the downloads page where you then click the button to download the game.

That's, uh... 5 clicks, on three separate pages. In each of these cases of people saying they "accidentally" joined, I looked in my authentication/download logs and see that yes, they went through those steps and downloaded the game. Accidentally.

If you truly have accidentally joined and are reading this, I have no problem giving a refund. Just ask. If, however, you accidentally clicked 5 separate buttons, went to 3 separate pages, then accidentally downloaded the game, then no, I can't give a refund for that.
