Polies Studies (Patreon)

I'm having a harder time than usual focusing, so studies aren't super in-depth this time around.

really a compilation of random doodles of observations of images I saw in the references I could find on google.

Some fun-facts:

The process of rolling into a ball is called conglobation and is also observed in armadillos!

Females have "brood pouches" on their undersides where their eggs are laid and are cared for by the mother until they're born as little baby polies that look like grains of rice with two little black dots for eyes.  Some species care for the babies for a while after they're born as well.  They're incredibly cute!!  Here's a video I found: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-hPP2v-Iqg

The females can reproduce asexually

They're technically crustaceans, not insects.
