I am not going to shut down the facebook page but I know a lot of you guys wanted a discord. I am old and dont use discord that often, but if we want one, we can have one.

Part of me says discord would be good just to post the prints and if anyone has any questions beat place to ask but that’s all up to you

I think it would be a good addition to those who don’t use Facebook. (Hell, I wouldn’t use Facebook if it didn’t have that many 3d printing communities on it). Could also be a nice Patreon / non Patreon community with different channels to potentially share presupported files, tease non Patreon to sign up etc.

I find discord is a nice 'chatroom', I never used it until I got into 3d printing last year 😄

Maybe only allow patreon members then if possible. Or have a chat on the discord specific for members.
