Rocky hate Mark

I think Odo’s log bit is an ongoing struggle between him and Starfleet’s bureaucracy. They want to be kept in the loop and he sees it as senseless interference but does the minimum just to placate them. In this instance he even throws in a passive aggressive “if this isn’t how it is supposed to be done, I don’t care”. Marc Alaimo’s neck is directly responsible for the Cardassian make up. Warm blooded reptiles having long thin necks with the cobra like neck flair to the shoulders. It looks so good on him that when they have actors with “normal” necks it looks off.

Your enthusiasm for this episode is beautiful to see. It's why I enjoy your reactions so much. A favorite episode of mine. The lore is awesome! The reveal... Even better... Your faces, priceless!

They did write the Kira character with Ro in mind, but Forbes turned it down.

Bashir: "Get an anti-grav unit in here!" Thus introducing a glaring plot hole in "Melora" where they couldn't get her hoverchair to work with Cardassian structure. Simply retrofit her chair with this tech (or build a temporary one) & that destroys the premise of that episode. Note I speak as a permanent wheelchair use where I fit different wheels on my chair for rough ground or off-road travel. If I can do it, I'm sure Starfleet can! 😂♿

Columbo always knows who the murderer is from the start (or suspects who) and then proceeds to find evidence to prove it.

Joseph Krengel

The reason why you don't get a "who is Arjun" element to the story is that he hasn't figured that out yet. That's Dax's advice to him.

I think in Melora they said the issue is in the plating for the habitat rings messes up the anti grav chair, not the promenade. But maybe I just head cannoned that to solve the problem.
