Rocky hate Mark

In addition to being Trelane, Koloth was the Klingon captain from The Trouble With Tribbles.

"We don't like the TOS Klingons and love the TNG Klingons. But these three should have looked like TOS Klingons." Sometimes it is hard to take you guys seriously.

How dare you not “pop” when you’re supposed to! 😉

I don’t care about’popping’ for something. The first time I watched it I had not as an adult seen the TOS episodes so being from the TOS era meant little to me. I didn’t care for the revenge plot. Also having poor vision I still wouldn’t have known them had I known.

I loved the way one of the Official Star Trek novels handled the difference in KIngons back in the day. Just as there are different races, in the Klingon Empire there were different races. During STTOS, that was a different race ruling at the time. No forehead ridges. They were eventually overthrown (which, they kind of were) and the new ruling race/family was this particular race with the head ridges. I thought it was a neat and tidy way to deal with it. So of course Hollywood promptly ignores it. This is the way.

Getting the TOS klingons in this episode was absolutely awesome and Terri Ferrell is fantastic!

Trust me on this, huge spoilers in the YouTube comments, maybe you’ve had the spoiler already but….YouTube….

Crewman #6

Not spoiled - the mods be like that meme with the guy taking arrows so that the kid can sleep peacefully. Eh, I gave it a B. The return of oldies was just an 'oh neat' for me. (My starting point was TNG S6)
