Numinous2019

There are little moments in these episodes that are clues to later developments. Even as little as a non-verbal reaction to a line of dialogue. The show does demand close attention.

International Man of Leisure

Glad you said something without saying something. In this show, more than any other Trek, innocuous things come into play years down the line. It's almost....Babylonian.

Also, way back then (S1 and 2's first broadcast) I never got the impression that Bareil was anything but a sincere man. So you both may have been over-thinking his character. He was clearly set up as the opposite of Winn. You can't have two conniving characters in the same sub-plot.

Brent Morris

I would read this episode a C With that being said whenever it comes on on Pluto I immediately check to see which episode Pluto showing of TNG TOS or Voyager or Dog the Bounty hunter even, rather than watch this episode again

Loot Narsbaar

I don't think they've done a good enough job in the Bajor Pope Arc to lay the points from A to B to C and make them connect in a satisfying way for the viewers. It's hard to get worked up about Bajor if we're on a station at the mouth of the wormhole and not actually on Bajor. The would be like making a show about earth that takes place in the asteroid belt. We don't feel the repercussions on DS9 like we did in In The Hands of the Prophets or The Circle. Honestly I don't know how essential the first two seasons are since I didn't become a regular DS9 viewer until season3 and I still understood the overarching story fine. And I'm also surprised you didn't get the f------ s--- spoiled out of you going to paramount plus
