Summer

I was in my mid twenties when I first saw this, so my saying my views on it have changed only goes so far. But I like this one more than I used to. I can appreciate it for what it is and the character moments.

I was given a pile of Star Trek stickers to hand out at a festival, and a clutch of them featured Janeway surrounded by candy corn. Even though I've seen this episode maybe '1.5 times', I knew immediately what the colourful Halloween treat was referring to. Iconic, these costumes are.

Glad you guys are taking to this so well! First finishing your technobabble with your dinner, now taking time travel stuff in stride. I'd say this is a pretty solid visit random place story for VOY. Maybe that's the issue, not as much of a joined together feeling like in DS9. As for 'utilising the premise' - perhaps you'll see someday. When it comes to time stuff - what I look for is internal consistency. This is fuzzy enough that it's fine. Though Past Tense - they do come up with a similar excuse after the 'somehow'. Subspace bubbles can do weird things - Subspace rift here is all it took actually shift through time. B'Lena. Love Josh pronunciations. Alex wants to try D&D? How about an idea most diabolical? Play a Star Trek TTRPG together :)

I think many people who say they aren't using the premise are referring to the Maquis v Starfleet premise, not the delta quadramnt.

Congrats on both of you going full time! Livin the dream!

Now guys before we start watching this episode and your reactions I gotta tell you this episode is so well written because of David Kemper, who is Steven Spielberg‘s closer as he calls him for when he needs a screenplay written for a movie with Michael pillar that had this kind of script been written for enterprise in the day and been like the second or third episode of enterprise. Enterprise would’ve gotten to five seasons in 100 episodes, but nobody ever wrote an episode like this early in enterprises run and that’s one of the reasons why everybody jumped over to Stargate SG1 when Star Trek enterprise was the only Star Trek show on the air, but you’re not there yet, but this is a perfect example of how UPN is a network stayed on the air, although basically Voyager was the flagship show and if they would’ve canceled the Voyager before seven years came to an end they would’ve in fact, canceled the network and ended up closing it that would’ve defeated the purpose of making the network in the first place and then the network actually ended up merging into what is now to CW, which now both Paramount and Warner Brothers have sold off their investment in it and they only now produce stuff why somebody else owns the network which is kind of weird, but that’s why we only have five networks now in the United States instead of six
