Interesting that the CDC Project is called Wildfire which is the same name in The Andromeda Strain. Made me think what a great watchalong that would be though it is over the 90 minute mark.

It's kind of surprising that The Andromeda Strain has been largely forgotten, considering the fact that it's based on a Michael Crichton novel. The movie is a slow burn, but definitely worth watching.

RIP Jim. Here is a question. What if being a zombie is AWESOME? What if you are the happiest you can be just wondering around eating people at least in your own mind. Look at dogs. They are so happy just running around. What if zombies are just playing when they eat people. Just saying, always two sides of an issue.

"RIP Jim"? We didn't see him die. I like to imagine that the post-zombie-bite fever has like a 99% fatality rate, but is technically survivable if you're really lucky. For all we know, Jim started feeling better after another day or so, got up, found some food and water, and went on to live a long life.
