KIGA kengen Part 19introduces “Rokurohmaru,” the Sixth son of the “Sakatorii Oni Brothers.”

Rokurohmaru incorporates several motifs, including “Syahu (jinrikisha puller),” “Mezuki,” and “unicorn.”

As for the unicorn motif—since a horse with a horn is a unicorn—I reflected that in the design of the horn.

The Syahu motif is inspired by the image of a horse, so the design features a lower body with highly developed muscles.

Initially, I designed him as “Mezuki/Gozuki,” intended to be an Oni counterpart to Saburohmaru.

I also envisioned him as a rival to Zenki and Goki, so his signature colors were chosen to contrast with theirs.

He fights by loading bullets he generates himself into two pairs of Gatling guns to attack from a distance, and in close combat, he counters with powerful leg techniques and a dagger.

As is evident from his use of firearms—weapons that symbolize human civilization—he stands as the most powerful of Sakatorii Oni Brothers, blocking the path as the final opponent.

He schemes to overthrow the established hierarchy among the Oni and is a character whose true intentions remain a mystery.

The cloth tied to his thigh possesses the “ability to dominate those who have surrendered,” and there were plans for a storyline in which he would use this to control his brothers and incite them to attack.

Since Syamon is also a character who wields a gun and possesses the ability to control the Oni, this matchup is set to be a symbolic battle against the “greatest foe.”

鬼畫顕現その１９は「逆鳥居の兄弟鬼」たちの六男坊、「陸郎丸」を紹介します。

陸郎丸のモチーフはいくつかあり「車夫」「馬頭鬼」「ユニコーン」などを用いています。

モチーフの一つ、ユニコーンに関しては角のある馬といえばユニコーン……ということで角のデザインに反映しました。

車夫に関しては馬のイメージからの連想であり、下半身の筋肉が非常に発達しているデザインになっています。

当初は「馬頭鬼・牛頭鬼」として、佐武郎丸と対になる鬼としてデザインしていました。

前鬼・後鬼のライバル……みたいな想定もしていたので、イメージカラーも対照となる形になっています。

二対のガトリング砲に自身の力で生成した弾丸を込め遠距離攻撃を行い、接近戦では強力な足技と短刀で応戦するという戦闘を行います。

銃器という人間の文明を象徴するような武器を使用することからわかる通り、逆鳥居の鬼たちで一番強力な鬼として最後に立ちはだかります。

鬼達の関係性の下剋上を目論んでおり、腹の底が知れないというようなキャラクターです。

太腿に繋がれている布には「屈服したものを支配する能力」があり、他の兄弟を支配しけしかけてくる……というような展開も予定されていました。

沙門も銃を扱うキャラクターであり鬼達を支配する能力を持っている、ということで「最大の強敵」として象徴的な戦いとなるマッチアップですね。
