Chapter 13 - I need to have sex. (Patreon)

POV: Rui

When we began exploring the Dungeon, I moved to the front of the group so I could kill every monster that appeared, just like the first time. Tiona, Tione, and Ais didn't stop me. In fact, they encouraged me to do it.

Whenever I came across a goblin or a kobold on the first floor, I killed it effortlessly with my sword.

A single quick swing was enough to split their bodies in half. Honestly, they weren't strong enough to test my swordsmanship.

As we descended deeper, the monsters became stronger, making things more challenging.

When we reached the sixth floor, I encountered two War Shadows together, which is a rare sight. Without any fear, I faced those black humanoid figures with fingers shaped like sharp blades.

Unlike goblins and kobolds, they were fast. But not fast enough to cause me any trouble in battle. I could easily keep up with their movements.

When the first War Shadow attacked me with both hands at once, I blocked its claws with my sword before kicking it away. It was sent flying backward and crashed into the second War Shadow.

I closed the distance in an instant and drove my sword into one of their stomachs.

It died instantly, while the remaining War Shadow recovered and rushed toward me, wildly swinging its arms. Monsters like these can't think during battle.

They act purely on instinct.

With a smile on my face, I attacked it.

I moved quickly, deceiving its eyes. Then I slashed horizontally, severing its head and killing it instantly.

I picked up their magic stones and tossed them to Tiona.

"Let's keep moving. I want to have a little more fun."

I want to get this over with so I can have sex. I need to level up.

The expedition went smoothly. This time, we made it all the way to the twenty-third floor before returning to Rivira. The battles were very easy since we fought together most of the time after passing the fifteenth floor.

I also stopped using my sword and started fighting with my bare hands because it had begun to get in the way.

I need a special skill that grants me proper swordsmanship, because I don't think simply training with Ais will be enough. Maybe the system works like an RPG and will give me the skill once I've trained enough.

I'll find out in the future.

If that happens, I also hope the system gives me quests someday.

That would be interesting, as long as they're optional. I hate quests that force you to do things you don't want to do. It's like being controlled by someone else, and I don't like that.

As we were getting ready to leave Rivira after restocking on food and water, I approached Tiona and asked,

"Do you want to go out with me tonight? We could go to a bar by ourselves."

"What's this? This is the first time you've invited me out. Aren't you worried about people seeing us together?"

"We're part of the same Familia and the same party. Idiot."

"Oh, you're right. It wouldn't be strange."

"But it's better to keep this a secret from Tione and Ais."

"There's no need. If we say we're going out for drinks, the worst that could happen is Tione insisting on coming with us."

"That's exactly the problem. I want to be alone with you."

I smiled at Tiona.

"So that's it. I can't wait for tonight."

Just then, Tione and Ais walked over.

Suspicious, Tione asked,

"What were you two talking about?"

"The lower floors. The monsters were stronger than usual, weren't they?"

"You noticed it too?" Ais asked, looking at me. "It's strange. I'll report it to God when we get back. The monsters also seemed restless, and there were far more of them than usual."

The conversation suddenly changed.

Honestly, I hadn't noticed the drastic change Ais was talking about, but she was right—the number of monsters had definitely increased.

They were also clearly more restless... or rather, angrier.

Maybe something strange is happening.

After leaving the Dungeon, I returned to the mansion with everyone else and opened my status to take a look.

Contrary to what I expected, it had changed!

Strength (STR): C 670

Endurance (END): C 615

Dexterity (DEX): B 724

Agility (AGI): B 759

Magic (MAG): D 547

The changes were small, though. My "natural" growth was incredibly slow. The only way I'd be able to improve significantly was by using points.

'Well, I thought my growth had been completely locked and that I'd only be able to improve through points. Even if it's slow, it's better than nothing.'

At least now I knew I was getting stronger whenever I fought monsters.

That made me even more excited.

After taking a bath, I put on clean clothes and went downstairs.

I left the mansion and walked to a small street near the Loki Familia's manor. There, I found Tiona already waiting for me.

The moment she saw me, she ran toward me.

"Rui, I thought you weren't coming."

After glancing around, she quickly leaned in and gave me a brief kiss on the lips.

"What's this? Did you really think I'd leave you waiting here? I'm not that stupid. You'd kill me."

I laughed.

"Come on. I know a good place."

Walking side by side with Tiona, we headed toward a bar I had never been to before.

As soon as we walked in, Tiona greeted the bartender as if they knew each other very well.

After we got our drinks, Tiona asked,

"How long do you want to stay here? I know a good place where we can be alone."

"We just got here."

"It's just that I'm really eager to have your thing inside me again."

Tiona whispered into my ear so no one around us could hear.

A shiver ran through my entire body.

I grabbed my glass and drained it before saying,

"All right. Let's go."

"Wait, already? But you two just got here."

The bartender looked startled.

Tiona tossed the money onto the counter and said,

"Sorry, but we're in a hurry."
