Set during Season Seven of the show, in a place and time where chaos has yet to run rampant across the city of Mantle and the Kingdom of Atlas....

Standing atop a rooftop somewhere in a random part of the city where they were overlooking it all with a sly smile on one face and a contemplative frown marred with resentment toward one individual she couldn't stop thinking about, even now, was Neopolitan and Cinder Fall respectively observing their targets to find. Cinder, in all her sleek rogue-ish style of clothing, was well-concealed as she hardly stood out in the city of Mantle when looking around to find clues on the whereabouts of General Ironwood's most well-kept secrets somewhere above in the grand Station of Atlas Kingdom's base of operations. Neo, on the other hand, let her heterochromatic eyes follow Ruby Rose wherever she could, often feeling tempted to just camouflage herself using her Semblance and simply running the girl through from behind with her sword. Never had a day gone by where Neo didn't think of killing Ruby on the spot when she saw her walking around with the company she keeps without a care in the world. It boiled the mute girl's blood greatly and it served to only motivate her into ensuring her wrath was great, the only thing stopping her was Cinder Fall and the fact that rushing in would possibly ruin all of their great plans to overtake the Kingdom together. Not that she cared for that sort of thing, all she wanted was revenge and to make the girl hurt badly right now more than anything.

It was nighttime now and the starry sky cast a blanket of winter comfort all over the city of Mantle Neo and Cinder stayed up high to observe it just a little more until the former heard the latter speaking to her from the side, with a conniving smile on her face.

"Neo, I've just discovered recently that the Relic is close, within our grasp even, but it is well-guarded as it is said to be carried around by one of Ruby Rose's little friends who is currently journeying around them as we speak. Mantle is a big city and I need you to go find them for me, or rather, find it and retrieve it. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm needed somewhere else and will need you to do your job perfectly so that our plan can succeed and you can have your precious revenge on that girl.~" Cinder spoke with a sly, exotic voice that was no longer coarse with pain and dryness after recovering from her injuries the first time around. It seemed fate had it in for her whenever she was so close to victory, but now she had learned better and wanted nothing more than to win. Revenge could come later.

"I know, I know, that look tells me you only want to kill Ruby right now and don't wish to help me if it puts it off, right?" Cinder asked while haughtily crossing her arms, noticing Neo nodding her head and quickly bringing out her Scroll from behind to lightspeed type a message on-screen for her to read.

"I want her dead now. If I get you the relic from whichever one of her friends has it, then could I just kill the girl after I drop it off? I won't return it to you right away if I'm barred from getting my vengeance on that girl." She 'said' in text and even added a frowny Smiley at the end of it, making Cinder chuckle as she let out a weary sigh before she responded.

"Sigh, we'll discuss that later, okay? Right now, I have a boss who wants her alive...so to speak, you can rough her up as much as you want but her death is off-limits until we get this done. I'm sure I can persuade her to let you gut her early for funsies if we do this sooner rather than later, but that only depends on your cooperation. Am I clear, Neo? Does that suggestion sound good to you? Because I  need you to go spying on them right away and find out who has it, then take it from them." Cinder addressed and Neo, wanting to argue and rush down into the city in disguise to find them, reluctantly agreed after putting her Scroll away. "Good, now then, go and follow them around. I think I hear they congregate somewhere around the homely little house that Professor Polendina occupies. Either that or a hotel, my sources are sketchy at best. Do your job, Neo, and you'll be rewarded handsomely."

She brought her Scroll again and quickly typed; 'All I want is a dead Ruby Rose, but I'm going now. Wish me luck.~'

With that, the girl did a bow and used her Semblance to disappear in a white flash of mirror-like energy that made it seem like she teleported. Cinder simply huffed and continued looking over the city with a conniving smile on her face for she could feel victory was in reach. She could almost taste it.

"Good luck, Neo. Hopefully, you won't be distracted by anything else down there, be it Rose's friends or any idiot unlucky enough to draw your attention. I can hardly wait to see your results.~" Cinder said aloud to herself, shuddering with sadistic delight and secretly feeling sorry for whoever got into Neo's way or attracted her wrath since she was even more of a sadist than she was.

Eventually,  hopping down and flipping from rooftop to rooftop, building to building, Neopolitan kept herself hidden from sight as she stalked Ruby's crew throughout the city of Mantle. "Alright, Oscar, it's your turn today to keep the Relic safe, I take it you found a good hiding spot somewhere? Because General Ironwood is breathing down our necks to keep it from prying eyes even though I think we're the safest hands that there can be." Weiss Schnee said, tapping her right foot impatiently as the boy simply nodded to everyone with a confident smile on his face.

"Yep, totally found a good hiding spot for it, I won't give you any hints on where it might be, but just trust me, I have it safe and can deliver it to either of you promptly in case things get crazy out here. Are you all still doing stuff for Ironwood right now? I'd be totally down to watch a movie with Weiss and Jaune again. There's a lot you miss when working out in the wilderness away from the city.~" Oscar asked, chuckling softly as he rubbed the back of his head, flexing a bit of his lean youthful figure that started making Neo feel hot under the collar. "Indeed, plus I've never been a movie girl, more of a literature one. That aside, we'll be busy for a while until the General calls us in for a game plan to be made with the Relics. Sorry, Oscar." Blake replied earnestly and Oscar simply waved it off while the rest gave their answers.

"Well, Nora, Ren, and I are going to train with the Ace Ops crew again for some upcoming missions. After that it's more Crossing Guard duty for me in the morning. Sorry, dude.~" Jaune replied and Ren and Nora simply stayed close to his side with hands on his shoulders in solidarity.

"Hey, no problem at all. That can wait, I think those moms are really into you, Jaune. Better give one of them your Scroll number. And you two are busy as well, I take it? I'm always up for more close-quarters combat training with you, Ruby.~" Oscar asked when turning his head to Ruby and Weiss who both reluctantly nodded in agreement as they brought out their weapons to show him the damage the last Grimm assault left each one. The blush on his cheeks was there and Neo found that she didn't like this very much and was already planning to correct this as soon as possible.

"Yeah, super sorry, Oscar, but I got to take Crescent Rose in for maintenance at Penny's' Dad's shop. Only he has the tools and materials I need to both fix this baby and upgrade it too. The same goes for you, Weiss?" Ruby asked, clutching her roughed-up weapon while Neo continued to listen on in boredom, eager for them to finish and separate so she could grab Oscar and run.

"I am simply having tea with my sister this afternoon, these moments rarely come by with the world in Chaos so I tend to savor a quiet tea time with Winter whenever I can before her job comes calling. We'll...see movies again this weekend, Oscar. I promise." Weiss answered courteously and Oscar, now feeling excluded from liveliness today, simply waved at them all with a smile as they each broke apart from the team huddle to go about their plans for the day. "Just promise me you have the Relic locked up somewhere safe, wherever it is. That thing is super important, as I'm sure Ozpin told you many times inside your head."

"No need to worry, the only way to find that thing is to get information out of me and I'm not telling anyone until it's time for all of us to take action in using them. Well then, until later, everybody.  He hehe." Oscar waved them off and started walking down the center of the park toward an alleyway shortcut leading into another part of the vast city, Mantle. He felt rather lonely and hummed to himself with hands behind his neck, wondering what he should do today to keep from being bored out of his mind.
