Working on this commissioned illustration for Maggie, of her version of the events that followed Drogon taking Dany away after her final scene in Game of Thrones. Her description of the event is as follows:

"Through mists and darkness, the last dragon has flown to the ruins of Old Valyria. It is here we find Drogon The Winged Shadow has returned his beloved silver queen to her ancestral homeland. There he is met by eight red priestesses, seven carrying the eggs of Summerhall, and one carrying a book made of flame."

I love it! Can't wait to see the final piece!

Maybe it will sound not very appropriate in these certain comments, but anyway: I love it when you post your sketches! Not only are they fascinating to see and make me look forward to seeing the whole masterpiece. I also look at the sketch more precisely and understand it mustn't be ideal. I mean I'm usually afraid that if I make a mistake on my sketch I should delete it and draw everything again. But when I notice the slight difference between figures on your sketch and the resulting painting I feel amazed and willing to work hard as you, I suppose, do. And this means not giving up if, like, an eye on my sketch looks not that good like I imagined haha; not deleting but not being afraid to correct. Thank you for painting these unbelievable things!! Also, your art makes me feel inspired, so thank you for this too ❤️

Awww that's so sweet! I'm really glad that my sketches have encouraged you not to give up on your own drawings; sometimes a drawing can change extremely during the process, almost unrecognizably so, and the best thing you can do is just try to go with the flow! Sometimes you can be really amazed by the result when you're done because it will turn out different than expected.
