Realistic Nature Scatter Techniques (Part 1) (Patreon)

Part one of my series around nature scatter techniques and my workflow around getting predictable and consistent results when scattering large amounts of foliage.

We are of course using C4D & Octane, with Octane scatter. I dabble between Forester and Megascans although the results if worked at enough can more often than not become indistuingishable. 

When I have uploaded all the parts to this series I will upload the project files which include both variations.

Lighting and composition really place a minute part in these scenes, what sells scenes like this is how naurally we make the nature scattering feel and this is done through noises and stacking multiple octane scatters.
