I think there's an error on the second page: "I make sure of that." Is it supposed to be "I MADE sure of that"? Or "I'LL make sure of that"?

It sounds correct to me. Instead of being past or future. "I Make sure of that" is current as in that is their task and has been.

Poor Rask, a so obvious suspect! Craic was possibly killed by an owl? Because, since the beginning of Oren’s Forge, I don't remember seeing a mention of the threat of birds of prey. It means that rabbits, squirrels, martens, and others, are bigger than matching species in our world? Perhaps a humans size?
