Oren and the One-Eyed Wolf is a short 13* page comic set between the events of the last volume and before the next.

Next page will be up October 18th!

*I thought I could make it in 12 pages, but after playing around with layouts and finding what I think works best, it'll end at lucky number 13.

The main storyline is scheduled to continue November 15th!

Fair to say Oren was a momma's boy. I love his quick thinking. I guess you could call this a "sticky" situation.

OOOH I love the pacing and flow in this page,, you can just feel the action and adrenaline.

and there, the fatal blow for the wolf

Interesting that in the wolf's account, the stick's already there but Oren tells about the wolf biting through the stick before he uses it to half-blind the predator! Though that might just be dramatic retelling on one of their parts!

It's possible it's just how they remember it. Memory is not perfectly reliable and is easily distorted by the subconscious with the concerned individual non the wiser. The wolf remembers having dealt with a vicious hare, and the hare remembers fighting desperately for his life, so naturally the first will remember being stabbed by surprise, and the other desperately fighting for his life and coming up with it in the spur of the moment. (It's an excellent writing we have here. Too little artists acknowledge memory is fickle, and how different sides will have different views of the same conflict.)

True! Teagan's always been pretty great about the subtle touches that really make the story shine that much brighter!
