NightEyes DaySpring

Swift is not going to give in, and with Scree, the odds would be even, but I do think someone isn't going to make it out of this alive.

Pantera

Scree to the rescue! Yay!

Microgrampup

You’re near if not already on the soil of the Hollow Singer. I believe it’s actually you who will nourish what grows in this soil. No need for dream Quanaq to question who lives and dies if the river flows all the same here.

Grey

AWOOOOO

Furlop

This is why you never monologue as a villain!

TropiCat212

YEAAAAAAAH YOU GO SCREE! We draw the line with the killing of the innocents!

Marcwolf

If you ever seen "Puss in Boots.. The Last Wish" Death had the same problem at the end :)

Givemeyourmilk

"I find this terribly sad", Singer lied

Microgrampup

Given the direction Swift is facing, I think she’s about to attack Keen while he’s distracted by Scree’s surprise attack.

Rheanna

The surprise on Singer’s face in that third panel is delightful. I do feel like he underestimated Scree, though. Even if she’s not loyal to Swift as a leader, she’s absolutely helped raise those pups and, unless she’s completely stone cold like Singer seems to be, she has to have some attachment to them. She would’ve helped hunt to feed them, protected them, most likely even babysat them a few times. She would’ve treated them like family to keep up the facade and Swift’s pack would’ve treated her like family, too, not knowing any better. No matter how it goes, I think in this instance, Singer made a mistake thinking Scree was the same wolf his zenith pair sent to infiltrate a rival pack.

Grawuar

I'd rather wager she's going to try and flee. Maybe encouraged by Scree shouting "run, Swift!", sacrificing herself. Swift's tired, injured, and has better things to do than risk dying in the turmoil.

Gale Tazzin

He really thought Swift would just give up once she was disabled, and not fight with whatever she had left! No wonder he got along with Seral

Pantera

Keen's throat is exposed, so she might try to attack him.

Sarah

SCREEEEEEEEEE!!!! GET ‘EM!

Luckyclaw

The contrast between Singer here, and Singer later with his cutesy sayings and sympathy is wonderfully infuriating. He's exactly the kind of sadistic predator that Hemlock encountered years ago in the cougars, but worse, because he's being enabled by the Zenith's violent desire to eradicate all other wolf packs. Definitely my favorite villain in the setting, so far.
