Trivia #1 (Patreon)

Since I don't have anything interesting to share about Chapter 9 at the moment - currently rendering scenes of a conversation between Cora and Daniel -, I decided to share trivia about the game. Then I'll post something like this from time to time if there's nothing interesting about the chapter I'm working on.

So, originally I wanted to make a grinding incest VN called Family Chronicles. It was to be based on a series of short stories I wrote online. Rick, Miranda, Judit and Gabe was based on it.

Miri's name in the short stories was Zita (Hungarian name formed as a nickname from Felicity), while Rick's name was Levente (a traditional Hungarian name). I didn't change Judit's name at all, and even kept the fact that she is of Hungarian origin, which is why I write her name without the "h". Gabe's name hasn't changed much either, he was originally called Gábor, which is the Hungarian form of Gabriel. Rick's father's full name is Gabriel Havelock.

In the original sotires, Rick (Levente) and Miranda (Zita) were siblings, and Gabe (Gábor) and Judit were their parents. Moreover, Levente and Zita were much younger than Rick and Miri.

The characters taken from the novels are also Jake and Kendra, as the best friends of the main brother and sister. Their names were also different, Kendra was called Zsanett (the Hungarian equivalent of Jane), Jake was Gellért (the Hungarian equivalent of Gerhard). Although in the short story, Gellért was the policeman, so in essence Terence was also developed from him.

It is interesting to note that Zsanett and Gellért had a sister, Rita. I haven't brought her into the game, but Kendra and Jake have a brother who I haven't introduced yet.

Ashley and Cora didn't exist in the novels at all, I made them up specifically for the game.
