What to expect in Part II (Patreon)
Content
Well, Part I has been available for two weeks now, which also means I've been working on Part II for two weeks. Okay, not quite two weeks, I gave myself a few days to recharge, because I don't want to burn out. At the same time, I have streamlined my workflow a bit. I used to do a lot of processes in parallel, but now I find that it slows things down quite a bit. So now I'm just focusing on one workflow.
But what happens in Chapter 9 Part II? Well, the story picks up where it left off in the previous Chapter 9 Part I. As before, decisions can have a major impact on events. For those of you who would like to pair Rick with Ashley or Rachel, here's some good news: he can take his relationship with both women to a new level. Yes, with Ashley, as you hope. ;)
In addition, those seeking an open marriage will not be disappointed, but those who follow the faithful route or the NTR route will also be delighted. The only bad news is for those who want to set Cora up with Daniel or Argay, because these two characters will not be in the chapter. However, Chapter 10 will include both men. The former is inevitable, and the latter if Cora chose him as a companion in Chapter 9 Part I.
But the biggest new feature of Chapter 9 Part II will be the gallery and replay. Yes, I've been planning these for a long time, but I've never had the time to do them. The gallery will also be a kind of "progress indicator", i.e. individual images will be available as you progress through the different paths.
How am I progressing with Part 2? Well, I am currently writing. I'm doing pretty well, although I've had a few bumps. I had to delete a Rick Ashley scene because it didn't work. The dialogue was forced and the situation was repetitive (Rick is having lunch with someone in a restaurant again). Also, I had to delete another scene (part of a conversation between Rick and his boss, Alec Freeman) because I realized that there is no decision making process that would make this conversation available. However, I have already written about half of the chapter. But the tricky part will be the end, both in terms of writing, coding and rendering. It will probably take the most time.
