Almost exactly a year ago, on 15 July, my computer crashed. And now again. I got home yesterday, tried to turn it on, but no picture, no sound, nothing. Exactly the same as last year. WTF?!  Since yesterday was Sunday, I can only take it to the mechanic today. We'll see what happens. Last year it took 13 days to repair. Let's hope it will be faster this time, and also cheaper. I don't really have money for big things, let alone a new computer.

So rendering is definitely out for a while. I think at least a week. Until then, I'll try to do the code and the script. There is plenty of work to be done on the former, and there is always room for improvement on the latter.

What's a bit more of a problem is that I can't do the datapads for the new Distant Horizon update. Apart from that the update is completely finished, the bugfix is done, the English text is checked. So, I'll wait a little longer to see if I can quickly find out what's wrong with my PC, but if not, I'll release the update this way. Then I'll add the datapads planned here in the next update.

So keep your fingers crossed for the best.

Update: Unfortunately, I can only take it to the mechanic tomorrow, because when I got there, I had to find out that he was closed today due to holidays.
