It's funny how Damon's character (and Ian Somerhalder's charm) makes you feel for him despite all of the bad things that he's done. I know I was suppose to love the delena moment but it just had me thinking Damon just voiced his concerns of Stefan’s blood drinking addiction and how he’s been lying to her! And that’s cool! Also, Stefan lying about drinking the blood is the same reason why every addict lies about their addiction. He’s in denial about how bad it is and he’s also ashamed of the fact that he’s not controlling it. Telling the people around him would make him have to face the fact that he’s not under control.

By the way, just want to clarify that Stefan struggling with blood right now is basically like a drug addiction. Think about how an alcoholic can't just have "one drink" like everyone else at a party. You just finished Euphoria so you're aware how that can affect people's behavior. So you can't fully blame Stefan for his actions while he's like this. He's not in control of himself, like Damon said. It's an addiction like any other addiction. 💯

Guys, Stefan would not have died if Elena hadn’t fed him at that moment. He passed out from being drained and injured but that wouldn’t have killed him. There were vamps in that tomb for 145 years with no blood remember. 😂 🫶🏾 Can’t wait for you guys to get into Season 2. Hands down season 2 and 3 are the best! ☺️

i know you guys are confused about why stefan is hiding him drinking human blood, think about it like this, He's an addict and like anyone with addiction he's ashamed of it. If someone is a drug addict and you confront them about it, they will also probably lie and say they have it under control and that it's not an issue. I don't wanna get too much into stefan's addiction cause i don't wanna spoil anything but just keep that in mind lol

I feel like you guys don't know what having an addiction really means, stefan feels shame and embarrassement so ofc he himself wants to act like he's fine, so he lies, that's very common for addicts, it's a real struggle, he's fighting against his nature and obv don't want pity eyes on him and make him seem weak. He does not have control and is in denial, if you think stelena is toxic wait for delena. Personally I don't like delena, I like stelena(not super tho) but I prefer the brotherhood, I think Elena would be best in no relationship
