I mean idek man…I feel like the point of love island is not just explore randomly as soon as a new person comes in. I feel like the experience is, you meet someone, you couple up, you're either happy or not, you talk to other people and just like in real like if ten persons come to you you won't necessarily be attracted to them. After that you're either happy and grow what you have or you're not and you keep exploring. Despite being in a couple you're open so if bombshells come in and they are your type you can explore. You don't HAVE to explore if they're not your type. If you do that you end up doing what season 7 was doing and explore until the very end and it's like you don't even get to grow your connection and it shows by the end. Or you're just using the show as an excuse to hoe around. Ace last year it was clear he wanted Chelley but he wasted everyone's time by exploring people he didn't really like for real. Even though it seems crazy it makes sense that some people already have feelings especially the OGs (they had interest that grew over time) and it's mirroring also real dynamics like toxic ones. It's even more logical that they would feel so into each other after kissing and more. The experience is LOVE island, it's less about exploring than finding love. The endless new hot singles is just a side of the experience to give the opportunity to find someone if they haven't already or to test people's connections. Have you really found love? Or were you just settling? Or are you just here for the bag?
