Should we stop reacting to Vampire Diaries after season 6, or should we watch the whole thing?

It does get a lil boring after wards and the originals became my number one during that time. But we start to get more magic in the later seasons. So I would stay

I think you need to do 7&8. They might be a little weaker but I think you should still watch them bc imo 7 is the weakest but then 8 is a great season in my opinion. I think it is worth it for you to see how it ends.

I personally think 8 is better than 7 for sure. 7 is my least fav season. But the final season is defiantly worth watching.

Season 7 & 8 have very mixed reviews, with people considering them to be the weakest seasons in the show. But I will say, there are some moments and tone shift in the shownduring thise seasons that I think you guys will like. Plus you get closure with finishing it in its entirety. But me personally, I would understand and be fine if you guys stopped after 6. I just don't think you'll be able to stop after the ending to that finale lol. I say watch until you absolutely can't anymore. I'd rather you give that time to one of the others shows or movies you'll actually enjoy watching.

The show shifts in tone in a way that's actually pretty interesting, it gets a bit more introspective, leans harder into the characters' trauma and history, and the relationships that get focus start to feel different and more layered than what carried the earlier seasons. It's a different tone for sure. But if you've already invested this much time in these characters, the way it all gets tied together by the finale feels earned rather than random. Worth seeing through

I say watch and judge for yourselves because plenty of people enjoyed seasons 7 and 8. Imagine how many things we would miss out on in life if we just listened to what a bunch of haters had to say and didn't try things for ourselves. How many people have missed out on fun experiences or travel because someone told them to stick to the status quo like this is High School Musical. How many inventions have been lost to this "follower" plague? But anyway, the issue will still be that the opinions of naysayers have impacted you guys' opinions before even starting the seasons at all, and this is a tragedy.

They not telling yall the real, Yeah Vampires diaries was good season 1-6 but when u realized they was building towards the originals during end of season 1 going into 2, then from their the originals took over the show, u start to realize vampires isn’t really good no more. They’re just low tier characters with crazy plot armor that doesn’t make sense once the shows, separate. The last few seasons is literally ehh. The last episode can make u Cry if u finish all the way threw but from watching you guys, ik yall wouldn’t really like the story it built up to compared to originals
