THE REASON I SAY WATCH S7 AND 8 OF TVD IS BECAUSE ITS PIVITAL TO KLAROLINE AND THE JOURNEY THEY HAVE OVER THE YRS ESPECIALLY INVOLVING KLAUS' DAUGHTER. ALARIC IS A BIG PART AS WELL. LBVS... NO SPOILERS. BUT ITS GREAT IN MY OPINION

ONE MORE THING, YOU HAVE TO WATCH S1-3 OF the originals before s8 of tvd or some crossover episodes and stuff wont make sense. The official timeline is s4 ep20 is the originals pilot. So the following week s4 ep 21 aired of tvd and on the same day after that s1 ep 2 of the originals aired so watch it like that . Tvd ep 4x21 first then the originals s1 ep2 after that and keeo watching it in that sequence and crossover episodes will line up perfectly
