I agree with Mair, the girls are definitely telling her that for Melanie to stay. And the girls are pissing me off bc of that, a real friend would tell u not to go back to ur pathological liar of a partner who ppl pleases and doesn’t care abt you fr, even if they know Melanie is delulu. I’m not mad about the fact they chose them to leave the villa. They definitely weren’t the strongest. Yes it might sucks that it’s friendship island but Melanie and Sincere makes more since to be on the island then Jaiden and Caleb no shade. Either way it went I wasn’t gonna be mad about the picks.Melanie and Sincere also looks good together. Maybe the islanders looked past the drama between them and are thinking because they go through these things and find they way back to each other then that’s why they compatible.

I feel like Parmida was right that what Melanie and Sincere have going on currently is toxic, but knowing how deeply Melanie feels for Sincere I just feel like she’s going to ultimately forgive him. Also the majority of the other Islanders not picking them to be dumped makes sense to me just because these people have spent weeks with each other, after a certain point no one can really seem to separate their friendships from who’s truly in a compatible couple. Even before they all separately discussed who they wanted to vote off Ariana LITERALLY said “This is not about friendships.” But I’ve watched the US version of this show since it started, several seasons of the UK at a certain point it does become friendship island. And while I feel like a lot of the time the people from Casa move weird, because they come in so late…at the same time they also might give some of the best advice as they have already seen what went down prior which is why even though I don’t really care for Parmida, I respect and agree with her opinion on Melanie and Sincere. I like how Melanie isn’t all lovey dovey on Sincere at the moment, she shouldn’t be, and for their remaining time in the Villa however long that will be they really don’t have a choice. Sincere says a whole lot but he really has to show through his actions and if at the end of the day Melanie chooses him again which I think she might, I personally just try not to get so angry or upset over the whole thing because there’s no point when it’s her choice whether it’s wrong or not. But I do think that her “friends” who have been with her since day 1 should still be telling her the truth and how they feel even if she doesn’t listen. It’s just, they’re all stuck in this Villa together, they can’t leave, and to stay in the Villa you have to be in a couple. So while I don’t really agree with what they’re saying about being “Team Sincere and Team Melanie together” it’s just not surprising.

As much as I don’t like Corbin and Parmida, I do think they are more compatible than Caleb and Jaiden. At LEAST we know they’re physically compatible, but for Caleb and Jaiden I can’t say they’re physically OR emotionally/ communicatively compatible.. IMO

I'm a bit surprised that y'all are so shocked that people were voting for Jaiden & Caleb. You literally said it yourself at the beginning of the episode that Jaiden does not like Caleb for real lol, she even said at one point that Caleb is not really her type and that he's basically too nice/passive. This may not have been super obvious to us as the viewers due to the edit, but clearly it's been obvious to the Islanders since Casa. As for compatibility, relationship compatibility goes beyond just sharing hobbies. It's about having aligned values, life goals, lifestyles and communication styles. I agree that most of the Islanders voted out of loyalty which is why Melanie & Sincere didn't get a ton of votes. But I do also think the Islanders are seeing the things the edit doesn't give us much of which is that Melanie & Sincere do have aligned values & life goals -- when Sincere is not lying it does seem like they have a good relationship. But their communication styles are clearly not aligned because Sincere is a pathological liar while Melanie actually has the best (most honest and vulnerable) communication skills in the entire villa. That being said, they're also not the only couples with poor communication styles. Kenzie has been very manipulative and self-centered in all of her connections (even her friendship connections with the girls). Zach constantly negs Kayda and punishes her emotionally whenever he doesn't get his way.
