Great reaction cant wait for part 2 but yeah you guys are definitely thinking Gandalf knows more than he does I think. He doesn't for sure know how its actually going to end or any specific details I think he just kind of has gut feelings. I understand why youre splitting your reactions, but this movies first half you are right is mostly set up for what is to come, so watching in 2 parts is definitely a different experience than doing it all in one sitting.

Lol Sophie's suspicious heart. You have such awesome chemistry together and it's so fun to watch these. But yeah poor Gandy he's a great wizard cut him a little slack :D he is very old and wise and has had many experiences. Like Chris said he doesn't have foresight like the elves can have but he has developed a highly tuned gut instinct
