Jamie wants redemption for himself. He is mad he isn't seen as an honorable man. He wants to keep his vow to Cat and protect Sansa. His goal is for Brienne to be her protector. He doesn't want Brienne to bring her back to Kings Landing.

I hear your confusion Sophie that Margaery did seem mad that Joffrey was dead. Could just be because she wanted to be queen. Then again, in my opinion NO ONE should be mad that Joffrey is dead. Even Sansa annoyed me for questioning Baelish so hard like “why would you do that? The Lannisters gave you everything” … like BIH?!! Are you not grateful? That boy sadist threatened to assault you and beat you, and you’re mad?!! Some people never satisfied. I think Baelish at least deserved a thank you. I just didn’t get her character at all 😩

Guys....don't overthink EVERY SINGLE THING. Try not to talk alot over the commentary...the answer is actually right there. You just said it seems like Jamie and Cersei were having a rough patch...yes...so when he realized Cersei wanted to harm Sansa and find her, his honor compelled him to work with Brienne to do keep Sansa safe, as he couldn't do it himself. Pod also needed to leave because if you guys remember... they threatened Pod's life because he didn't turn on Tyrion. Remember, Tyrion basically asked Jamie to look out for Pod. Locke is at the Nights Watch for Jon. Yes...The Boltons sent him to kill him. "Cersei this season just seems like she's full of rage..." lol....yea you guys haven't seen anything yet! Stay tuned.

Actually....no one tried to frame Tyrion for Joffrey's murder. It just so happened to play out that way. The culprit did what they did to poison Joffrey...but clearly couldn't know Tyrion would take the fall. It appeared that way because Tyrion was the cupbearer and right before Joffrey died he pointed at him. Cersei of course hates Tyrion and no one saw the true culprit, so it makes sense how it all played out. Tyrion became a small casualty in the bigger defeat!

You're right. That guy Locke, is "undercover" - sent by Lord Bolten to find Bran first and Jon (both have better claim to the North than Bolton) and are a threat to him holding Winterfell.

in episode 2, we see olenna fiddling with sansa's necklace at the wedding. that's when she took the stone off it subtly to poison joffrey.

Lol it's interesting, ya'll are like the only people I've watched who saw a potential double meaning in Jaime asking Brienne to find Sansa. But no, Jaime is genuinely wanting Brienne to find Sansa and keep her safe. He even gave her the sword he got that was made from Ned Starks sword, and armor, and asked her to bring Podrick to protect him from being killed. Tyrion told Podrick he needed to get out of kings landing quickly, this is Jaime's solution to that issue. He's helping Tyrion's squire. When Cersei asked him to kill Sansa, that conflicted with the oath he'd made to Cat. Honor compelled him to protect Sansa so he made sure Brienne had the tools to do it. The thing with Brienne and Cersei is, Cersei often brings out the worst in him, but Brienne centers him and reminds him of the kind of person he wants to be. Also, a lot of people miss this but Brienne naming her sword "Oathkeeper" was a name inspired by Jaime. Jaime was often called "kingslayer and an oathbreaker" so her looking at him and calling the sword "Oathkeeper" after he gave it to her to keep his oath, was signififcant. Especially considering in the start of the season, Brienne was telling Jaime he still had an oath to keep, and now Jaime is keeping that oath.

Wait wait… after rewatching this show I just realized OLENNA DIDNT WORK WITH LITTLE FINGER. SHE POISONED JOFFERYHERSELF. BUT LITTLE FINGER DID AS WELL OMG. OLENNAS POISION JUST HAPPENED TO WPRL FIRST
