5AM in the UK but I'm watching this regardless 🤭

Halima

If you remember, that letter from Sansa to Robb is what made Robb call his banners. He knew immediately that Sansa had been forced to write that letter. Sansa was told by Cersei that this was the only way to save Ned. It's kinda wild that even after all she's been through, Arya's still unable to see that things aren't so black and white.

TDaTruthReacts

It wasn’t just for Cersei jon wanted to do it to show Danny too & everyone so they can fight with him. & it’s crazy uncle Ben saved jon & he was how jon got set up & killed. This show does good on msking full circle moments!

Luke Gressel

Jon was continuing to fight because they suggested if they kill the night king, everything is over. Its basically Jaime trying to kill Danny in the Spoils of war episode. That is the issue with the end of game of thrones... things make sense but YOU now have to connect the dots, the show wont build it out for you anymore..

Robert L

Ygritte was right about Jon. He really does know nothing. This fool got one her of dragons killed hahah.

TDaTruthReacts

Y’all tripping like y’all ain’t see them running towards drogon & jon was holding them of we saw it slowed down for the viewers in real like that happened fast. Think of a real life scenario things happen faster then tv/movies 🤣 if the movies & shows did real life fast scenes we wouldn’t catch half the stuff

Halima

I felt so bad for Dany losing Viserion. She's already lost a child before and as the dragons grew she probably started to see them as invincible so Viserion dying must've been a massive shock.

Halima

Yeah the writing in this episode is shoddy to put it nicely. Gendry made it back to Eastwatch, sent a raven, the raven arrived at Dragonstone and Daenerys got to Jon and crew all within a day. Then Jon just mindlessly going after the wights instead of getting on Drogon made no sense for him character-wise. The annoying part is they could've just made the wights swarm the crew as they were getting on Drogon and have Jon stay on the ground to defend them while they get on, while they're distracted, the NK takes out Viserion – simple. Instead they wrote it in a way that makes Jon look like a thundering dumbass.

TDaTruthReacts

Y’all’s reaction to the dragon being brought back from the dead was the same one I had 🤣

The Prelude 2 Fame

Jon wasn't mindlessly fighting, definitely was picking off the stragglers so the group could escape (while putting himself in harms way, cause he has a death wish) plus I think he was trying to potentially get to the Night King.

Halima

"It's that nephew and aunt tension" AIGHT MAN 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

The reason season 7 and 8’s writing isn’t as good is because the show caught up to the books at season 6. For the first 6 seasons, the show writers took the story directly from the books, but for 7 and 8 they had to come up with their own completely unique idea and just botched a lot of it. The author of the books himself said he didn’t approve lol

Sam

I'm sure that if allll these people weren't talking about how disappointing season 5, 6, 7 were that y'all wouldn't be influenced by all of it. And even these comment about season 8. I don't see why people can't let others form their own opinions, this stuff influencing you guys genuinely annoys me. Because in a way it's spoiling, but not exactly spoiling of the truth because they're giving opinions. There are parts of season 8 that are great, don't be influenced by these people seriously.

Gunnar

Naw you two are very right abt Jon in this episode. I def think overall this is a decent episode but glaring plot holes and stupid decisions that don’t fit the character weren’t things we saw previously. Hoping you guys like Season 8, again more like a season of great moments than overall good TV but it is what it is.

Sivan

Welcome to the Game of Thrones where the writers force characters to become complete idiots in order to push along a plot line. I’m sorry in advance, because you guys can obviously see it happening. A lot of reactors just like the action scenes and don’t notice how characters start doing things that don’t make sense.

Hopefully u paid more attention whn u edited to see the whytes were literally fightn tryin to prevent thm frm taking the captured whyte. No one was abortin the mission. EVERYONE was still fightin to clear a path to grab it & put it on Drogon. At the very SAME time The Nite King was grabbin the sword every1 was JUST THEN getn on Drogon. Jon was fightn to allow thm time to get on. He wasnt fightn for nuthn. Hes the Capt his ppls safety & the mission take priority ovr his own life (Hardhome). U didnt note the importance of time. Brans warning to Jon showd the King n his sight frm East Watch....very close the END of the Wall(opening theme song & lore). The Wall has spells AND he sees what Bran sees whn he wargs...power frm The Forest (lore). Westeros isn't the only ones strategizing. Hes weighing options & opportunity too. They could go around it or wait for a way thru. It took Bran ab 1mo to get to Winterfell (lore). He said there was NO TIME for any of ths! Nvr4get with or without The Golden Army THEY ALSO hav to travel A MONTH frm the south to Winterfell. Dont assume 1 or MORE dragons wouldntve died attackn Cersi instead of her helpin Jon thn travel ANOTHER month to go help hm w LESS soliders, unk# of dragons, & the north has already been dead a month. U get 1 month to make & act on a strategy not 2months for trial & error. A dumb Capt would purposly ignore options to gain numbers for war w the dead. Jon did all he could to gain soldiers n the time he had for Ramsey. Despite those who thnk not to forsake honor for possible gain is actually dumb, Jon is not dumb, so he wouldnt do less now w the dead. Even w/o lore u should kno by now prophecies n ths world r not a jk...Lord of Light or anyone elses, as maybe u'll get to c & link. Every1 has a place & purpose. Uv watchd the whytes fite a lot. Unsure y u thnk theyre just bones. They fite w the power of The Nite King. They jus dont hav ALL his power. As one who luvs the ending seasons none of the fan greater turmoil has to do w s7. Also rmbr the writers quit s6. They dont write together for 7&8. And at no point do they nor god GRR Martin write to please audience desires. Its an expression of their art. Everythng aint for everybody & thats ok. GOT isnt a predictable fairytale. Its n the Shakespeare section. Y'all r still Summer Children. Considering the thngs u miss, 4get, no lore...mayb y'all want to b & thats ok too. Trust ur not alone. Just mayb save ur rage energy until u have as many pieces as possible... even if some pieces r wrong and missing lol. Believe me ull hav PLENTY of time to rage Lol u c the comments, videos, articles, almost 15yrs later for TVppl & 30 for book ppl. Luv, hate, middle Earth it lol...ur part of ths dysfunctional family

There is much more to come. Relax and stop listening to the hype. Everything has its place and a reason. There many wights! Remember who they are. How many babies did craster give him. Hundreds, Thousands? He has to kill the king. One dragon was always going to die. It’s viserion who represents her brother. As Drogon represent Khal Drogo, and Raeghals represents Raeghar. They are some brilliant ones to go. So calm down. And enjoy the battles to come. Game of Theones is bittersweet it always has been. Season 8 has some of the best things in it as well not the best. But hey you won’t know till you have watched it many times over.

PatronPioneer

Guys....now you should and can calm down from saying..."they can't kill so and so" "oh its no way"...lol...NO ONE is safe...not dragons not ANYONE. You guys need to really learn this! GOT is not your average show!!! RIP Viserion 🙏🏾

Virgogrl

First of all, you kept saying Jon was swinging for no reason and he should have gotten on the dragon as soon as Dany held out her hand. Jon couldn’t do that. He’s the King and they followed him beyond the Wall. Jon fell on his sword so they could all get on first. While he’s fighting off the army of dead Viscerion got caught in the crossfire. Viscerion was always going to die. In Order for Dany to join Jon’s cause was if it became personal for her. She required a bended knee to join forces but once The Night king killed her dragon, that dumb shit didn’t matter anymore. She wants The Army Of The Dead gone just as much as Jon now. And Jon bent the knee cuz he saw Dany sacrifice everything to save all of them. He’s seen the kind of person she is and he feels that now he can trust his people, The North to her. Also, Uncle Benjen was always going to sacrifice himself for Jon as he did earlier for Bran. It’s coming onto season 8 guys. The last season. They have to wrap this all up.

John Milton

I do not agree, season 8 is pretty good with all the past references and dialogues.

Season 7 is fine. A bit sped up but still makes sense. 1. I think alot of people are so Cersei-focused and think oh this was a dumb episode and dumb reason to go Beyond The Wall....however, if you really think about it people ...the reason for going was for Cersei, yes...but the events allowed Danaerys to finally AGREE TO BECOME AN ALLY!!!! SHE NOW JOINED JON, AFTER BEING A SKEPTIC. As much it made viewers upset about the dragon, Dany did not believe anything about the Army of the Dead. 2. Yes... I was one of those who was upset when I watched this the first few times regarding Jon not getting on the dragon. But after watching GOT several times (because yes, things move so quickly...and you honestly miss things) ... you realize Jon was still fighting the whites....to get to the Night King who was right there. Remember he just had spoken with Lord Danderion about killing the Night King to take out the entire army. He was trying to end it all then in that chance, which unfortunately didn't work out. The Night King knew what he was doing. (I won't add anything else) 3. Sophie saying all the scenes at the Wall were boring....tells me everything I need to know about how she's understood and connected the show and storylines. 🤣🤣 Everything intertwines guys....you will find callbacks in most conversations throughout.

Gasper

This season was def to fast, but nah danny deserves better but she did choose to go.

ramon carter

you guys see it this is where the writing goes down hill because they are out of book material

MagnusTheM

did people not see thta the reason he was swinging was not mindlessly, he was going for the king that was close , because they said if they kill him its all over
