Small suggestion: y’all should pause it during your longer commentary moments. I know whats being said bc I’ve watched this like 10 times but when you speak the mic cuts out and some of those that aren’t as well versed in this show might miss some important dialogue. They still have jump school, they still have airborne units. And, unfortunately, when we go to war again and the theater of operations calls for it, the will be airborne ops as well. I believe the last time there were combat jumps was during the invasion of Iraq in 2003. By this time, the Nazis had control of most of Europe, and all of France. The plan to attack Normandy with infantry from the sea and drop airborne behind the lines to attack Normandy from the rear was the way we were able to break into France and begin to end the war.
