Stewart is a Scottish Nationalist prick.

Charlie Nicolson

Is Sima two weeks away, or a month, or at least a month and a half?

Ross B

I think last night shows exactly where Clement sees Raskin in the pecking order. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him out the door in the summer.

Craig Fryatt

Well done lads, certainly filled the Monday morning slot with style and aplomb

Gordon Mitchell

I think Hibs having a full week to prepare worked out worse for them. They seemed over hyped up last night as its all they've been thinking about all week. We on the other had had no time to think about it, just rocked up and let them implode.

Alastair McGeoch

I think the decline in Scottish media and punditry coincides in our time down the leagues. Top flight coverage essentially became Celtic TV and “had” to be focused on ensuring Celtic fans kept paying to watch the procession. All the other clubs were just happy to be fed the scraps off the table. When we came back the trolling was all about everyone taking their kick at us which is still the environment now. It’s why the refs were brilliant until Feb and now they are all a bunch of corrupt bastards because it looks like we could do a treble. Rangers winning for a sustained period will break it as the companies will need to chase our viewing pounds.

Gordon Mitchell

I think you need to give Lundstrum a wee break. He's playing all the time and right in that engine room. He just looks exhausted. I thought, considering that, he did well last night. Diomande does look knackered but his fitness was always going to be a bit ropey at first due to when his season finished.

Simon H&H

Absolutely. He was my motm. He’s right in there with a shout for POTY also

I was really warming to mr Campbell’s intelligent observations on the previews and post match pods - but it is very obvious both he and mr Harrigan are founder members of the we hate John Lundstrum club!! For the man who was by general consensus the stand out MOtM to receive so much criticism on this pod is beyond belief. He did make the odd mistake but no more than anyone else - even silva and Dessers - who ian unbelievably praised for Thursday despite his relatively poor display - and he was far and away the best and most influential player on the pitch v hibs! I really hope he doesn’t listen to this - he’d be gutted to hear Ian’s comments after such a performance!! We all have our favourites and pet hates - I get that - but I’d hope for mot objectivity from ian in future. Passing judgement on anyone based on a preconceived idea of them and not what is happening before your ideas is plain wrong - and turns you into. - dare I say - Michael Stewart and his ilk!!!!!

Great pod guys. The issue with Michael Stewart is his hatred of us isnt anything to do with him being rejected as a youth player, his hatred of us stems from just straight up bigotry driven by his toxic nationalism and viewing everything Rangers under a stereotypical microscope. He's a hateful little dweeb and so long as companies like Viaplay keep employing him to cover our games I'd really like our fan media to discourage subscribing to them, get on the VPN's, give some money to the club and don't put up with it any longer.

Gordon Mac

Excellent guys. I think it needs to be Nico or John and I Agree that we need more time with Nico his season has been a complete nightmare tbh mostly due to injury. I expect Roofe to start on Thursday get 60 minutes from him. Nico to start against Dundee

Paul mcfarlane

I’m doing it on my phone mate! Wi stumps for fingers!! But I’ll try and improve my punctuation in future!!😂😂

Ronnie Gallacher

Good pod lads however Iain, to my mind, your criticism of Lundstram was a bit too much, he was nominated as MOTM by pretty much everyone across the fan base and fan media. For me, Lundstram is in the running to be our player of the year. I accept we all have our favourites and maybe Lunny isn’t one of yours, shouldn’t stop you from being fair and objective in your assessment. 2 more games before the players have a rest during the international break, let’s go!! Oh finally, Iain, I 100% agree with your assessment of that fud Michael Stewart though 👍

Grant Macarthur

Loving this new weekly “current team” pod! Please keep them coming 🙏.

Mark

Some wild tactical takes here guys. Lundstram dropping between the CBs isn't always the wrong thing to do. The problem earlier this season was he done it at the wrong times. Last night it was absolutely the right thing to do. It meant Goldson and Souttar could be wider which increased the distances the Hibs front 2 had to cover to block the passes into midfield. It also meant the full backs could start higher. It worked well last night.

Nadia Taffom

Agreed. The more "current" content the better in my opinion. A great weekly addition to the network 🥳

Ronnie Gallacher

I know that Iain and for me that is what this community is all about, being able to offer and share your thoughts and opinions and accepting others may have a different view. At the end of the day we all want a successful Rangers!! On to Thursday 👍

Couldn’t disagree more bud but respect your view, turning in 4 months of decent peppered with the odd good performance doesn’t change what Lundstrum is at his core a safe player who slows things down. Absolutely no need for him to be demanding the ball from a CB when he is level or more often behind them. No need for him to be passing it 10 yards forward to take it straight back and slow things down, we seem to overlook guys flaws when they become flavour of the month. I think the guys effort in recent weeks has been Herculean and his willingness to go to the well is commendable but too often his passes pr play slow us down more than speed us up and I think he’s too set in his ways to change. I like him when he is willing to get forward and play on the turn but it’s not his natural instinct and he is often far too casual with his passing. He is also too keen to give up on a ball if he makes a mistake, he throws his arms about frustrated instead of getting back to recover the ball. Another guy who’s absolutely a good solid pro but no more than that, he might be player of the season contender as someone else me ruined but only if you just look at half the season or half of what he does in game. If we could set him to forward play only then he would be immense. Guys like Cortes and Diamande show you what you could have so it’s not impossible to get someone with the dig and drive while having that far more forward focus. Respect your view but not sure he is as universally lauded as is made out.

Iain Campbell

It also meant there was a gap in the middle of the park, which allowed them to gain control in there over periods of the game

Spoon

Excellent pod gents, agreed and disagreed with you guys across a range of stuff but great honest content and exactly what’s good about H&H, its not an echo chamber and gets you thinking about your own views! Great blend of opinion, becoming a favourite 👍🏻

Liam Johnson

Exactly, Lundstram only does this when he has to ie when opponents give Goldson as much of the ball as he wants n he takes 5 touches before wasting a pass.
