The scotland team is full of 'celtic minded' players? A quick look at the squad just announced suggests there's 9 rangers minded players and 11 celtic. Hardly full of that lot 🤔

Talking about players that came to Ibrox and were sublime, Mendietta’s performance against us was up there with the best I’ve seen

Douglas Innes

If we're going to win it we have to win it in the first 60 minutes , worth noting since you've recorded Cantwell Wright and Macausland trained , Lyons Juninho was a bit special

Greg

Diego ribas da Cunha for werder bremen was an outstanding player.

John Smith

We need a partnership with BatCam

John Smith

Got a few ideas for incorporating the Bat Signal in to our walk out

Agree with Bellinghams performance at Ibrox, it will age well in the future. Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a future Balon D'or winner and England captain that night.

Russ

I thought Katai for Belgrade was a brilliant wee player tbf. That Belgrade side was probably the best passing side we played in that Seville run and he was the one that made them tick.

Also just on focusing on scottish talent, we missed our chance to have a policy of producing and signing young Scottish players when we were coming up the leagues and carry it on up to now. Due to the mismanagement of the club mainly but I don't buy the argument that we couldn't replicate Ajax when we only really have one competitor in the league who don't produce their own. Great pod lads.

The night before the match where the European adventure could end - nervous as a kitten! You mention the parallel with the Slavia game 3 years ago when we drew the first leg away. That game at Ibrox was such a binfire - a huge disappointment. There are 4 differences this time around. The away goals rule still existed so we started at Ibrox with the advantage, which lasted all of 10 minutes. The advantage turned into a curse when Slavia scored their 2nd. This time it is a straight shootout. That game was behind closed doors whereas tomorrow night Ibrox will be a cauldron. Also the ties with Slavia coincided with post 55 hangover - metaphorical and literal! Tomorrow’s game is part of a full on “business end” of the season programme with the team fighting on 3 fronts and vital games every few days, which is a preferable scenario. Also I think Gerrard’s inexperience was cruelly exposed that night. Big Phil has much more experience. The last 16 stage is always an inflection point for my expectations. Getting to the last 16 means the Bears have achieved respectability for the season. If we get through then crazy thoughts start entering my head. Going to be a long and emotional evening tomorrow.

I’d much rather already know what’s at stake in terms of the opponent going in to a game. Makes it far more exciting

Angus Mackay

Spot on about Valencia, Alex, they were a unit like no other team at the time. Everyone understandably remembers Mendieta, but Claudio Lopez up front for them was also electric in that period.

Roy Gemmell

Lilian Thuram for Parma in 1998 when they beat us 3-1 after we took the lead in Italy. Best defensive performance I had ever seen in person

Thomas Blair

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Tav move up to right wing and bring in balogun to right back - would’ve been Jack if fit.

Iain Campbell

Myself and Steven feel really strongly about utilising the domestic market. There are real talents out there thay can be nurtured and developed. Walter proved this in his 2nd spell

Russ

Fully agree mate, if our budget is 3x bigger than that of 3rd place, that to me should be the okay sign to develop domestic talent instead of the 'too much pressure' bollocks we hear. If you can't blood youngsters when you're hitting 90 points every season in a 2 team league then just get rid of the academy imo.

I love to grow our own players..but my loyalty goes to the player who pulls on the jersey and plays there heart out for us..we love them...they love us..and I dont care what nationalty or religion they are..they become part of us...once they get used to our weather and the park the bus games.

John Hood

The whole Juventus team the beat us 4 - 0 at Ibrox. Outstanding! Agree Havertz looked special 👍
