At the end of 2016, Rangers were coming off the rails. The side lacked confidence and were plagued by the same mistakes we'd seen all year, much to the frustration of the support. The end was nigh.

I knew a bunch of guys who did this every year - Tim’s - and simply went to Amsterdam for 3 days. Years it went on. Similar story with guys going on a golf trip every year and never once taking a set of golf clubs - they were all left in one house.

Im normally last to say “that’s it get him gone”. Christ I made excuses for Greig up to the end but the Hearts game was it for me. I wasn’t expecting miracles first season back but I expected the team to be organised and difficult to beat this guy couldn’t organise a raffle.

I had forgotten all about the comments Warburton made about Hyndman. If ever there was sign of someone who had completely checked out. But yeah that night at Tynecastle was the clincher for me too. The hidings against that lot were bad enough, the rest of the league though? Nah nobody should be sticking 4 past us, not a chance.

Great pod again guys butI’m finding this a harder listen than when we were in the lower divisions. I wanted Warburton sacked after the cup final and just ranted all this season till it happened. I was at Leipzig for the friendly and can confirm it was freezing, the beer is great and it is full of Germans. Hate Kenny Miller

Couldn't have better guides to lead us down the trauma trail. Thanks again guys. We were a real Jekyll & Hide during this season, the good was always good enough to give me hope that it'd come good, we develop and do it more often. Masters of our own downfall too often. Said at the time, said it since and will say it again now - WTF was Davie Weir doing? A captain, a leader, a legend, a Rangers man, a consumate pro, a damn fine human too but first and foremost a great defender. So why were the most basic defending principals utterly absent from this side? Warburton gets grief, not a great legacy. Big Davie? Rep totally untarnished! Hey I'm not stoking up a hate Big Davie campaign. But lets do the maths. Take one of our best ever defenders. Give him a senior coaching role over the team. Should get a defence playing solid, sensible and stoic, not stoned. Trauma tale - I can't even recall the Bournemouth comments. At all !! Must've been bad or sad for me to file them in the 'Never open again!' box in my mind.
