GC

Probably a fair result but it feels like a lost opportunity with some wrong people in the starting lineup

Rona Bluebell

We win Wednesday and we’re top. When it all settles down that’s what we hold onto. Bizarre day but we got away with it. Just.

John Smith

If Schizophrenia was a game

Latimer

Tavernier, Goldson and Lundstram are not the future for Rangers. Plodders past their best.

David Innes

Disappointed with most aspects of the performance but felt before the game it was a must not loose rather than a must win for us. At half time their fans must have thought they had one hand on the trophy. That comeback doesn’t happen under any manager since Walter. We go again on Wednesday

Billy Forrester

Sterling should never be out of our team, needs to start every game and if that’s in defence or midfield or on a wing, he must play, only player who had balls 1st half. Awful 1st half and much better 2nd. Goldson gives me the fear now at CB, awful today and he is on the downward slope. Butland gave me the fear today too, not his finest 90 mins however he also had a couple of excellent saves 1st half. Wright should never ever start for us again All to play for but we really need to tighten up and stop the idiotic defending

David Kiltie

Disappointing not to win but from where we were at half time a great result. A year ago, Beale v Postecoglou that’s a 5-0 drubbing. In terms of selection I think Clement’s thinking was only fully fit players start.

Luke

Scott wright has had plenty of opportunities to impress. We know what we get . A bit of huff and puff and some tippy tappy play with the occasional burst of pace. Overall great result from 2 nil down. Going forward, we need to create more clear cut chances. Don't think we had many clear chances at goal. Silva in the first half. Goldson header as well. Just think we don't have much creativity in these games.

David Innes

💯 I watched on TV today if that first half happened under Beale or Gio I might have just switched off at half time

Latimer

I thought Clement had slapped the theatrics out of Silva. That carry on means you don't get decisions when you deserve them.

David Herd

I can't decide whether to be happy we somehow didn't lose or angry how awful we were.

Tom

I'm in Glasgow this weekend, I googled Rangers pubs in the city centre, first few suggestions were OK, Oswald's, The Toby Jug, a few others, then Google hits me with Molly Malone's and Kitty O'Shea's, come on Google you trying to get me stabbed FFS! All in all glad with the draw, we were the masters of our own downfall again.

Scott Tolmie

Incredible you gave butland mom, didn’t have a good day at the office

Graham johnston

Felt we needed to win today. We gifted Celtic 3 goals. If we can't get our mentality right we will lose at Parkhead

Colin Carstairs

Did say on the preview pod comments that we would win 3-0 🙃… Got the 3 correct. We got away with a terrible 1st 45 & at 0-2 we would all take a draw but the next week will be full of the pen decision which for me is a pen (See Jesus v Brighton last night ) & the deflection that their team blew a 0-2 halftime lead & a 2-3 lead with mins to go should really be the main talking point within the Smsm..

Gregg

Thought he done okay - didn’t have balls when he aimlessly hit it up the park in the first minute when there was a ball inside on to lundstum. Suspect he will be in centre mid at their midden

Gregg

Said before the game that I wanted to see PC pick a team to win the game and impose ourselves - feel he shat it a bit. First half there wasn’t a player who was even average - a dreadful performance. But fair play - they are much maligned but showed some balls to come back. Positives are we got 3 in the 2nd half. No sure my nerves could handle another game like that

Scott Farquhar

The myth that Lawrence is a good Rangers should now be put to bed, terrible today and flatters to deceive more often than not!

chris smith

This ALL DAY LONG … good enough for most of the season but way off what is required v the scum

Spoon

No issue with selection, only frustration is I think we lose a lot of what Sterling offers in energy and dig dropping him into defence. Fitness and players match minutes is dictating more than tactics. Can’t and Alex both spot on regarding Wright, he’s not the level we want as a starter but we can’t be paying top £ to a guy who’s fourth choice, he’s just an honest pro with faults. The mentality of the key players in these games remains an issue. The performances from Goldson was horrendous, never been the fan of him other have been but he is struggling recently for some reason. Lundstrums negativity and poor passing was terrible. For a guy some think is a key player for us he is so slow and negative in these games it’s infectious to those around him. Back passes, sideways junk 1-2s and dropping back when he should according to his hype be bossing the game and driving us forward. He needs to go to as we can get far far better. Not enough to bully the St Johnstone midfield, do it in the big games. Silva is an utter embarrassment and should be sent home, ineffective, theatrical and if he didn’t have the price tag hype he would be getting slated. Offers very very little for a guy so quoted. Butlands saves were crucial but his handling of some of the back passing was terrifying. Mixed bag for him in my eyes. Despite little service, especially first half through Dessers was excellent, felt for him pressing alone and you could see him trying to get others to push on. Sima and Matondo were a real shot in the arm and excellent. Cantwell in the edge of nonsense but also gave us far more threat linking middle to front. A weird game more frustrating than anything and we can’t give up the first half of games. I don’t agree that this is a better result for us than them. They just didn’t want to lose and will fancy taking 3 points at home (as we did) the impact would have been us extending the lead. We need to beat them this season.

Lewis

I know Alex hates saying anything negative but it is bit dull to say at every, single occasion for the last 10 years that we are just unlucky

chris smith

The ‘foul’ for the disallowed goal is the kind of challenge that happens 10-20 times in the game with at least half of them not given as fouls. It was a clear case of the game being re-refereed

Tamus

Tav is a rank rotten defender. Every decent team target him

Tamus

Big Staff is a hard listen So happy Clappy it's almost click bait

Billy Forrester

Butland Man of Match, no way. I thought he was shaky today, yes a good save from O Riley but felt he could have done better at their 3rd goal and his distribution gave me the fear. Sterling was immense for me, and best player on pitch. Goldson was abysmal today and I’ve been a huge fan but he was bad today and has been for weeks. Silva was embarrassing today, rolling around like a girl and I wouldn’t be paying money for him in summer, penalty apart done nothing. I’m not sure if I’m happy to get back into it and get a draw or raging at that woeful insepid 1st half performance. Maybe tomorrow on reflection I will see things clearer.

Bryan Scott

Their pen wasn’t a pen, mieda flicks the ball as Goldsons goes to kick it behind him. He’s not in an unnatural position as per the flick so no pen!

Ross Mcewab

Pathetic performance for the most part. Goldson is a clown

Stuart McCall

Anyone else think Dio is a poor mans Kamara?

C. J

Wright and Goldson should leave in the summer & I think Goldson in particular has cost us about 20 points in the last few years through missing 6 yard headers. He’s absolute garbage.

Craig McWhinnie

I don’t necessarily agree that a draw suited them more before kick off, yeah the last game being at parkhead favours them but win all our remaining games, avoid defeat their and we’ll be champions

Latimer

The leadership team guff needs to be put to bed. These were todays worst performers in the biggest game of the season,

Latimer

Cammy spot on here today 👏

Hendi

Fabio Silva's theatrics were an absolute embarrassment. He is a truly awful footballer. Lawrence plays like an old man, what people see in him I have no idea.

Doogz

First half worst I have seen us from Clement came in, lost freak goal and teams brains seemed to melt, badly needed someone to put their foot on ball and show some composure, we were shambolic for first 35 mins and felt we only started coming back into it as we neared h/t. Manager got the team wrong for me but getting Sima on lifted us 2nd half, to get it back to 2-2 the place bouncing and to lose that 3rd was criminal, but wonder goal from Matondo got us back in it, thought Dessers chance was in from where I am in WE. No matter your thoughts on Dessers he never gives up continually tried to press their defence on his own, especially first half he had a go at Wright and Silva for not going with him. Win at Dens go top and we go again.

Graham Jones

It was a weird one, but when you examine it we lost the first half and won the second, because we allowed them to impose themselves. We can’t do that in the final game. We have to do that to them, and get the manger his first Old Firm victory.

George Harrison

Until they start taking responsibility for their own actions, we’ll continue to give away goals like the first one … our Captain saying “it was your ball”, trying to blame Goldson, was a joke ! Goldson is as bad, if not worse, when he screws up, pointing to everyone other than himself !

Gregg

He was poor - he’s also just in the door playing in his first OF in a team that was playing really poorly. The need to single players out when the whole team were awful is weird

Ross McCormack

Sorry Alex, but i have to disagree that Scott wright is a suitable option for Rangers, even if he’s 4th or 5th choice. Give a youngster coming through that chance or cole mackinnon or ross macausland. Overall his contribution has been terrible.

Hendi

Nah, thought he was decent. More offensive than Kamara as well.

Craig Fryatt

Thanks Colin a brilliantly brilliant galvanising pod

Making Strides

You think I just say the same thing and don't mean what I say? Fair enough, but I take absolutely no shame in finding how we reacted today as a positive, and I can assure you that I don't just say things for the sake of it.

GlasgowBear

James Tavernier is a legend. And deserved hall-of-famer. But he is absolutely terrified of Maeda and has been for the last few years. Completely nullified because he’s worried about Maeda getting in behind. We were completely out-managed that first half today. We were better second half, but I really worry about us at parkhead. Cantwell and Sima should’ve started. Silva was awful and embarrassing. Dessers has proven all his doubters right. Lawrence was (and often is) a non-event. Wright should be playing for someone like St Mirren. This team needs a revamp. Start by weeding out the losers. I’ll probably take some flack for these comments, but we’re kidding ourselves on if we think this team is capable of anything special.

David Innes

I was on the fence about trying to sign him (or extend his loan) but today has made up my mind . He deserves to be dropped for Dundee

Lee

Disagree with Cammy re Scott Wright. Scott Wright has had plenty of opportunities to prove himself at rangers. He isn't good enough, clearly puts effort in but needs to moved on

Lee

Goldson is so hopeless at attacking set pieces. Wins headers but somehow always misses the target

Gregg

If you’re playing against someone as fast as maeda - you need support to deal with it. We need to figure out what that looks like. That said his end product is pish and he scored from a fluke

Craig Skinner

Fk me just heard Cammy say Scott Wright is unlucky with game time then say Butland was motm🫣🫣

Alan Baxter

Only just seeing highlights now. The Dessers equaliser, Celtic have three attempts at clearing it. How long does it remain in attacking phase of play? How far back do you go, 20 seconds, 40 seconds, or is just keep going back till whenever.

jason hart

Unfort the scum now thinks they have our number going to very very tough going to carpark head and getting a result especially with this lot Every man and there dog knew we had to come flying out the traps with pace and aggression .. yet it was them that did ... yes fluke of a goal but it was mistakes that led to it .. what I would do for a hately and coisty partnership On Silva far too dramatic for me ... sends the wrong messages .. firstly ref's give us even less than we normally get and sends a message to them that we can't stand up against them

GlasgowBear

Can’t deny it’s a “fluke” but it comes from a tactical press and putting us under pressure.

C. J

Aye, he’s absolutely frantic & the sort of show-pony youngster that Europe hypes up, only to see them playing for a mid table French side by the age of 24.

Andrew Orr

Sterling motm for me. Won every dual against Kuhn and Yang. Thought Butland was poor except top save from O'Reilly header. Point gained for us after being 0-2 and 2-3 down. Tims missed a big opportunity with how the game went. Need to start playing better again - previous 6 games have been pretty inconsistent.

Gordon Smith

The team that played the second half can win at Parkhead. The team in the first half can’t. Need to address the bottle issue at the start of OF games.

William Hughes

Somebody needs to tell me why Johnston wasn't sent off for a second yellow at our penalty?

Luke

Totally disagree with points on Scott Wright, he’s played over 100 games for us and Dessers has played less than half that. He should only be in the team out of necessity, he is fucking pish. Would be miles happier with McCausland / Lovelace starting against them when fit.

Spoon

He is forgiven purely on hype as his general play and output to my mind is woeful. The CM generation are blinded by any ‘promising youngster’.

Spoon

I like your honesty Strider, don’t always agree but I find the hyperbole we have in sections to over or under hype players needs someone to remind folk there’s a more stable mid ground. One thing people can’t say is that you aren’t saying it how you see it. Every opinion is valid and there is no party line people have to follow, I hate when you hear the phrase “everybody thinks X” about a player because as a support we don’t, ones man’s Silva is another man’s Wright. Don’t always agree with the comment but it’s good to hear the spread of views.

Bob MacCallum

Totally agree. Some podders on here recently have been trying to rehabilitate Dessers' image, whistling in the dark, quoting stats. I've said since AUGUST, he's a dud and I've been getting flak from the "support your team" mob.

Bob MacCallum

Goldson's arm was stretched flat across his chest. He didn't elbow the ball, it hit off his elbow. His shape/ outline wasn't extended. 4 Celtic players within 4 feet of him and not one claimed a pen.

Bob MacCallum

Sterling should have been in midfield. Wright and Lawrence shouldn't have played ( they didn't) Sima should have started. Ditto Cantwell. As for Dessers....

Brian Auld

No doubt conceding after 20 seconds destroyed our first half. Unbelievable mistake from our captain. Why he didn’t just sprint back immediately and play to keeper is a total mystery. He set the tone, too slow, bad decisions and it spread through the entire team. The fact we pulled a 3-3 out of this after the first half was incredible really.

GlasgowBear

He seems to be living off having scored a few decent goals in his time here. He’s seen as someone who can be dangerous from range but it’s so, so rare. He’s ineffective for most of the duration of most games.

David Kiltie

Putting Dessers in midfield would mean Borna at left back. Missing Yilmaz was a blow. The impression I took from the starting line up was that no one whose fitness was suspect started the game.

Spoon

Time to stop adapting our best line up as we are terrified of them, Sterling (assume that’s who you meant) in midfield offers far more protection and industry than playing him out wide at the back for me. I’m not as triggered by Borna and with better options in front he’s far less exposed. As for Bobs comment Dessers is likely to finish 20+ and for years we have looked for consistent goals, focusing on the misses and not the goals seems perverse but I get that muck like Colak his actual return is ignored as he doesn’t do XY & Z which is more important than actual goals. We kept a huffy guy who returned 21 in a season at his absolute peak and another guy who turned in 4 goals on average a year and hailed them as heroes. Just not a position I relate to when people slate Dessers, work rate and goals but slated, the mind boggles.
